it's all depend on your use and application of excel to your daily activities. I once went for a training in excel and after 3 days of training the trainer could not train me in my area of need. wats ur area of need and application den u can be train accordingly. 58DE7636

Causes may includes the ff;

1. Bad viscous fan clutch,
2. Dirty radiator

Also I hope the fan has not been worked on to run directly with the engine speed?

Have d radiator checked properly and also the fan assembly unit.

Its truly amazing when people want to buy a vehicle and complain of the mileage too high.

I run a diagnosis workshop where a client bought a SUV lexus RX300 2001yr model with 75,000 miles reading on the ODO and was bragging that the vehicle was really used. On checking the timing belt cover, the label on the cover shows that the timing belt was changed in 2008 with about 189,000 miles on the tag.

He knew nothing about that and has been visiting the workshop for one problem or the other and never admit that the vehicle has been fully used before it was sold.

Ford focus 2002? My friend why can't you give your car to a competent Auto technician. Have it scan and get the issue resolve.

If that be the case, What are the fault code that was generated on the ABS system knowing fully well that it is the ABS SYSTEM that is still malfunctioning.

You can do a live data of the wheel speed sensor as it was mentioned by GAZZUZZ. And also Do some actuator test on the ABS component via the scanner as well.

Also the ABS wiring system should be looked into for either open circuit or short to ground problem.

What type of diagnostic tools are you using to scan the car? My advice is to get a professional diagnosis scanner to scan the car so that you can get the actual fault code that is causing the light to be on.
