1. A website and a blog could serve the same purpose. To make it clearer, a website is a webpage served online where people can visit for updates, activities, information... So you can say a website is wide. But a blog is just restricted to a chronological order that displays post for users to read, comment and share on their social media handles.

2. Well from experience, a blog had wider reach because it is regularly updated with contents and articles. So a blog will generate more views for you through search engine search or through popularity.

3. Both support that.

4. Well, it depends on the kind of service being offered on the website/blog. If you sell a service of course the finance will be greater than a blog that isn't monetized yet.
