But today we are seeing a different story, as the refineries ROAR BACK TO LIFE.

Buhari fixed those refineries. Credit goes to Buhari. Tinubu has not achieved anything since he became President 2 years ago.

The problem with some of you is that you understand nothing about how the economy works, let me give you the number involved.

Alcohol industry in Nigeria is valued at 2.5 trillion in sales according to Statista.

Nigerians spent the equivalent of 13.3 percent of the annual budget on alcohol.

75 percent of the total of the tax generated from this 2.5 trillion sales is generated from the south.

The remaining 25 percent is generated from the 19 northern state mostly in the North Central.

What they specialise on in the north is destroying the alcohol beverages that makes it way into their region..

When you hear alcohol what you think is one Mr Ojo who sit in a joint and enjoy his paraga, what this politician sees is the Huge vat generated from the 2.5 trillion alcohol market.

You still didn't answer my question. Is ur Yoruba tax bill all about alcohol?

An analyst of your calibre shouldn't stoop so low to this level , this is how a secondary school will argue a bill that is significant enough to alter the future of how business is conducted in the country, a bill that is going to alter the VAT sharing formula in such a way that henceforth if nobody can drink alcohol in your state then you will have zero revenue from the sales of alcohol in other state..

Infact, this legislation is capable of making the Northern governor lift the suspension of alcohol in the future because this will be a reality check for them.


Someone like you should be arguing and criticising the merit of the bills so that some of us who look up to you can learn more, everything is politics to you guys.

Naturally in the past, I buy a Goat ones in a while and slaughter. Not because of any festive season. But cause Goat is usually very cheap in Kaduna. In 2014, you can get a large Goat in Kaduna from 3,500 to 7,000. While in 2022 big Goats are sold from 15,000 to 25,000.

However, everything has changed this year. Big Goats now goes for between 40,000 to 120,000. Depending on the size. The current price is influenced by upcoming Christmas celebration. After Christmas the prices will surely come down.

Lol Indians scammed him. The refinery is unworkable after almost 10 years of investing more than $30b into it from Nigerian forex and all kinds of loans. Naira to dollar exchange rate was very stable in Nigeria until he bought Jonathan into the biggest refinery in Africa idea towards the end of his government in 2014 and he started pumping dollars from our dollar reserves hoping to end fuel problems in Nigeria and west Africa. Within months in 2014 dollar jumped from 120 to 180. Buhari continued with same nonsense and dollar reached 700 before he left office and refinery still not completed. Emilokan as thief man saw what was going on and stopped funding of that refinery with our forex but the damage to our currency had already been done. Total loss of trust in our currency had led to massive hoarding of dollars and scarcity which affected the naira that even floating of naira by tinubu couldn’t salvage the problem. Same dangote moved again by trying to push independent petroleum marketers out of business, import fuel and sell to Nigerians at higher price by using his uncompleted refinery as a conduit pipe to get forex. He showed his hand again and Emilokan saw it when he demanded for billions of dollars to import crude, now he is going to Angola to be a partial owner of a working refinery
