If I may suggest, I'd advice u rerun ur model from scratch. If U import ur axis/grid lines again, and d design hangs again, then I suggest u remodel without importing those axis. See if u can remodel by drawing ur axis lines from scratch without importing. From ur uploaded image, ur design hangs just at the building model check at the building analysis design. The building model check is the part where the program checks the grid lines and their proper intersection. So if the axis lines don't intersect at a point, that is, if two or more grid lines don't intersect at A POINT, it will hang at that design stage.

@Sentaljohn, I respect u and ur intentions for this forum. I have contributed to non-profit making contributions here, and I agree to asking questions before transacting. People I've dealt with here, in d past, asked questions at length before transacting. If I may ask, sincerely, who gave the suggestion into this forum to try out Protas Structures as an improvement over Orion, as u clearly talked about recently? It was this same Ubatech.

@abbadmus, u quoted I gave trial versions of "... this program..." on a comment I made regarding Orion and staadpro, when our transaction was on Civilsoft Quick series. How balanced are u sir? I advertised and transacted with u, a version of Quickseries Civilsoft that performs the exact function the fully licensed and registered one does. The only difference being that it does not save d work done. Once u start ur design, u have to complete it and export ur design results to PDF or dxf and then exit d program, or u hibernate ur system until after design. This is d same version I've given out to lots of people, even in this forum, that can't afford the cost of the fully licensed program, and it's d same program I gave to u. U call me a scam and their for giving u this "trial version", u didn't say how u asked me to refund on d basis that you already had this version. Now, should I degrade to ur level to call u names too for attempting to " defraud " me? Did u ask me about the nature of my program, like others did, or did u tell me u already had a certain version so I could tell u if I also had it, before u transacted with me?
Again, I call out to anyone I've actually defrauded on this forum, among those that have transacted with me.

As for d video tutorials, I offered to give them to u of my own will, as a way to encourage ur interest in the profession. If anything I said here is false, point it out. Tekla structures is one of the best (if not the best) BIM tool out dere.....it is very huge and complex to learn.......its complexity in form of having all the professionals/team involved in the construction project have their interface/environment..that is why if you are launching the software for the first time, it asks you to chose your field/profession........it also tracks the overflow/process of all the construction stages involved in ur project....its very huge (am still a beginner in using Tekla structures buh close to a pro in its sisters software "Tekla structural designer"....

To learn Tekla Structures, i'll advice you to goto their site and register on the "Tekla campus" page....there's also lynda series

I am trying to download AutoCAD civil 3d 2018 version, I got up about 12am this morning to do the download, I disabled my antivirus, turned off windows firewall, but I have not been able to install all windows updates on my computer. After plenty hiccups, the autodesk civil 3d file began downloading, but once it reached about 100MB out of the 3.97GB, download just stopped and I repeatedly got error messages , I'm thinking of downloading it through Virtual Agent ,but I'm hearing that it is 30 days trial version, I'm really worried because I JUST NEED THE SOFTWARE DESPERATELY. Any way u can help me I will really appreciate. I have installed the 8GB of ram , processing speed is still 1.6ghz, HDD is 500GB

Are u installing online or downloading d installation package? I'd suggest u do d later. Ensure u hv sufficient data prior to download and I suggest u use Internet download manager in downloading dat kinda size.

detailing is a very big deal when designing structures as few softwares offer such service....
I use Autocad structural detailing for my details buh itt being migrated/merged to revit 2017 give rise to some complication...

Protas detailing is a sub component of Protas structural design Program. It is a developed program over the well known CSC Orion, which apart from having a few flaws, is also limited in design detailing. Protas detailing details as a stand alone prog, and/or details the results of the post processing analysis of pro structures. If u r familiar with orion, then you should understand this: after ur design and analysis and correction of members (footing inclusive) to ensure that everything passes, the design is exported to Protas detailing where with a click, the whole members is detailed. If u want to start a new project (that's not building), u can start ur modelling in Protas detailing, just as you would in autocad, and den carryout ur detailing after d design, to ur own specs. It's really dat easy. Protas detailing interface cones as autocad like, plus orion. And it not only designs different kinds of stairs (spiral, straight flight, dog leg, quarter turn, cantilever steps), it also gives automatic deign details. U can check out its detailing advert on YouTube by searching "Protas detailing".

There's a pretty good CAD out there that does structural detailing rather beautifully and easily. It is actually an improvement over orion generally, as it retained orion's interface, and also has improvements on orion, notably in d stair design and detailing,and in the overlapping detailing of combined footing design. It's called Protas. Another essential improvement is its unlimited number of floors it can design.
07030200996 is d number to call or Whatsapp. Also, if u follow bentley's staadpro, be adviced dat the steel connection design and concrete design/building planner has full unlimited licence codes for design, including BS.
