While in ATBU many years ago my dad was given me 6k for upkeep monthly, accommodation 5k for a session, school fees was less than 20k. Everything was cheap especially if u school in d North. Governors, individuals like David Mark were given free scholarships, monthly or yearly free stipend for indigens of their state schooling in the North.
