Pause and think about the 'lack of logic' of your statement.

It is the side winning, that will be capturing enemy territory and dropping their soldiers like flies.
It is the side loosing that will be beating a hasty retreat, dropping so many things along the way (Tanks, Dead Bodies, weapons, etc)
