TV/Movies / Startimes Now Lets You Pay In A Simpler, Cheaper And Faster Way by Uchechukwuobi: 11:42am On Nov 06, 2017
So, I found this somewhere online and I know it can help many people.

Renewing StarTimes subscriptions just got easier! This is because Remita has been added as the payment option. The rates, I hear, are cheaper than what is currently charged by other payment options available. and it is faster!

So, how does it work:

OPTION 1
1. Click the customised link on the email/SMS notification from StarTimes
2. Fill required information on payment page.
3. Select payment channel and complete payment.
4. Payment receipt is displayed and your StarTimes account is topped up.

OPTION 2
1. Visit www.remita.net and click 'Pay a Remita Biller’
2. Select ‘StarTimes’ under the ‘Who Do You Want To Pay’ option
3. Select ‘StarTimes Subscription’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose’ option.
4. Enters your ‘Smartcard Number’, ‘Amount to Pay’ and other required information.
5. Select payment channel and complete payment.
6. Payment receipt is displayed and your StarTimes account is topped up.

Business / Technology Is Growing Exponentially: Leverage It! by Uchechukwuobi: 2:57pm On May 13, 2016
The attainment of ease is the greatest desire of humanity, and technology is the vehicle for the accomplishment of this height. The initiation of a new level of ease is in reality the primary objective of technology. However, in the eyes of technology, nothing is ever easy enough. The limitation of one invention is the climbing stone of another, and what was once considered ground-breaking would in no time slide into obsolescence. Indeed, the hand of technology has significantly touched all facets of life; you name it: from banking and finance, to manufacturing, construction, transportation, art and culture, politics, science. Technology is the constant game-changer.

Do you remember the days when you needed to wait for a mailman or go to the nearest post office before could pass across vital information (even if it was a matter of life and death)? Do you recall the queues you joined usually at distant NITEL call booths, just to make a call that would almost cost you a “fortune”? You must also recall when GSM first came and only the upper class could afford a sim card or a mobile phone that could, at best, make calls and send text messages? How about the days when not everyone was a “cameraman” or video or photo editor – the days of the ‘dull’ phone? You should also recall the days preceding Skype and other instant video messaging platforms, when all meetings had to be face-to-face; when you travelled long distances but still missed the person you’d gone to meet.

Culture / The Expectation Of A Loverboy… As Valentine Draws Near, BY Tunji Johnson by Uchechukwuobi: 8:19am On Feb 02, 2015
The deal was that we would get each other gifts for Christmas. And because she was bragging about getting a better gift, I was forced into making a bet, one that I knew would not stand if she loses, but I took it anyways.

The bet: “If you get the cheaper gift, you’ll have to get an even more expensive one than both gifts combined, in the next month!”

Reason for the season, right? Plus you don’t want to mess up especially when it concerns the “luv of ur life.” Even on a low salary from my holiday job (at least a job to keep me busy before NYSC), I planned a 15k budget which included a shoe and a lovely orange jacket.
