Maj196: The best advice I can give anyone is find a way to earn in $ from Nigeria and enjoy. If you want to travel just go for vacation and come back.
Life doesn’t end in Nigeria bro after making money in Nigeria, you will still come abroad to live the best of life and to also make use of the best facilities and technology life can offer.
8 periods every week for 50k per week? It’s fine but how many hours is in that period because I am already aware that nothing is free in Nija even in Freetown?
It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you're a fool, than to open your mouth and have it proved beyond reasonable doubt
I have officially lost whatever tiny fragment of respect I once had for wizkid. He even lacks the self awareness to know how odd it looks that he's still calling himself a kid at the age of 35.
nedekid: Seun I feel you, I understand and know fully. Thank God some of us papa too accomplish. To our dear daddies we say thank you, and may you continue to rest in perfect peace in heaven.

dutchy313: I applied for a business visit visa in October 2025 for a travel scheduled for November 2025 (my trip was 7 days in total - 9th to 15th November). I was issued a 3 months visa within 20 days after I submitted at VFS Abuja
Just to mention, I booked an appointment on the VFS website, but the date I got was closer to my travel date so I had to request for a manual appointment by emailing info.japannigeria@vfshelpline.com I got a response and an appointment for the following day.
I hope this information helps.
Thanks so much for this information brother but hope you won’t mind updating us on the documents you submitted and if tax clearance certificate is necessary. Thanks
Does it mean that we don’t have fire service in this country and other workers meant for a situation like this? Even if fire service missed the first day, is one day not enough to fetch water and get fully equipped?
I have seen news of such happening in other countries and also the effort their various governments put to ensure the safety of their people even their news stations and journalists will be pushing them to the world but ours, I found them so unserious about this.
If government can not rescue people being trapped in a place that is not inside forest or cave but on a major road/street… Meen all men for theirselves in this country.
papiSNEH: Not saying archiving one's goal isn't good but sometimes when e don pass e, e simply don pass. shay na for 81 years him wan carry cert go find work .... if you check you must find see a younger relative of his that needed this education more but Baba said no i must see the four corner.

MBA to integrate into business world and attain some height in entrepreneurship adviced by his sons and were also assured of smooth sailing by his sons whether he decided to be present for studies or not.
If I become a VC of a higher institution, even my Uncles, Aunties, aged cousins and others that have BSc, I must barge them “Saraa” Masters both maternal and paternal relatives for anybody that shows interest. If you don’t have BSc don’t worry, just show interest and BSc you will have. Even if say my papa don die, I go still add him name and graduate him as a ghost student, go him grave go add Engr./Doc./Bar./Pharm before his name, my village people go even surprise.
How else will I help my relatives if not to use what is accessible to me to help them so that I won’t start dashing anybody money?
Gerrard59: Then, in this case, she should continue with her job in the federal school while you build capital and expertise. Then apply for a PhD fully prepared with all docs, tests and applications. Application fees should not be a problem. That is where your built-up capital becomes useful.
Australia is better off and within the Asia-Pacific region. In all, na money be the koko. So build up the capital and strike hard when it is time.
This is something I have not written about here, but the car parts/container business I have seen here (I am a member of the Igbo Union in my region) does not look profitable to me and is physically demanding. Without sounding immodest, I can make that kind of money in my family's business back home once I am in full control. Don't get me wrong: there is money, just not the kind of money I want or the kind of money I expected. I have met another man who said there is money doing the same business in China rather than Japan because goods are cheaper, and this is true.
See the new rave behind young people visiting China, even to the factories for goods. You don't have such here, and factory goods are usually cheaper or more affordable for Nigerians. Although goods from Japan have higher quality, but pricing is the issue for Nigerians. The weak yen might help businesses more now than when I got in. Nevertheless, not the kind of money I am interested in.
Your decision to live in either country is your choice, and I respect it.
I so much appreciate your time brother, Talking about doing business in China and also in Japan. There are a lot of used cars, electronics and co in Japan, I will say that one of the best means of making money in Japan as a Nigerian is importation of used items especially, used car parts because you sell them in the warehouse (general warehouse that everybody can use), the same day you offloaded your container and all buyers of used car parts pays cash before taking their items out of the warehouse where you offloaded and nothing like selling on credit but China goods are more of new items, new items are not sold in the warehouse except the importer’s personal warehouse or shop and a lot of credit follows because you will need to sample your goods in different peoples shops and outlets until you are fully known not like used car parts that one can sell the same day, cash payment and you don’t need to look for customers because a lot of customers will be in the warehouse searching for containers that are offloading to buy from.
In my opinion,
Nigerians mainly buy used items from Japan and new items from China.
Used items sells immediately with immediate payment because used items don’t have warranty not like new items are not wonderful business to do but everybody knows what they actually want in life.
Kaczynski: Bring your family to china instead of waiting on japan or better yet go for vietnam or indonesia.
Thanks for this wonderful suggestion but as someone that have stayed in Jakarta Indonesia 2016 , lived in Vietnam as an ESL teacher and presently with Chinese resident permit and living in China, I can tell you that those countries are not ladies friendly when it comes to job hunting except ESL jobs which is even hard for we Nigerians to secure.
Gerrard59: Good luck tho, but from my experience so far, I would rather raise a fully Black family in a Black dominated country.
Best of wishes!
I 100% understand you brother just that I feel like as my wife have been teaching in a Federal school for sometime now, she should continue with ESL jobs while running her MSc under Education so that maybe in 2 to 3 years, NZ or Aussy will be the next step ahead for PHD.
Secondly, I am considering finance for a family of five going to either NZ or Aussy, you know that the funds won’t be a child’s play.
Also my main business in Nigeria that I am well known for is used auto parts, I feel like I will do fine scrapping cars in Japan while supporting my family with bills.
Lastly, I have businesses running for me from China to Nigeria because I have a Chinese resident permit and can fly to China from Japan anytime I need to meet factories I produce with in China and flying from China to Japan ain’t that expensive.
AngelicBeing: l can eat l think 3 or 4 but again that depends on how empty my stomach is, if l am really hungry, l can eat 5 with Fish 🐟, Tomato sauce, groundnuts, or l can eat with okra, Ogbono, Vegetable , Afang soup 🍲 ooooooooo, you can call me weirdo, na you Sabi.... hahaha mucheche Hahaha oturugbeke hahaha 😂

Gerrard59: Yes. Alternatively, you can tell the school that you can submit a letterhead from a lecturer or professor stating that you received your undergraduate degree in English.
But bros, this is almost four years, and you are still on this matter. Within this period, laws have changed, and tuition fees have increased. More immigration laws will be introduced between now and 2027.
Gerrard59 my brother, You are right on the four years you mentioned but I believe this time, it will pull through. I am looking for a way to send my wife and three kids to Japan so that I will have rest of mind.
Moreover, I live in China with a Chinese residency and also doing my business in China but living in China while my family is living in Nigeria never go down well with me.
Gerrard59: Someone will come here to ask this question again.
Here:
- Transcripts - Bachelor's Degree - Letter of Recommendation - English proficiency test result - Research theme (very important) - and whatever the school requests you submit. Each school is different, so inquire at each institution.
Please Gerrard59, Do you mean that English proficiency test result is required from we Nigerians?
