Thanks all for ur information so far, I want to travel to Poland through study. I have even started some school application but I have been have some difficulties in completing my application. Like one of the school am applying to, school of economics Warsaw for MSc and the deadline is 24 July. In the application form u are ask to type in ur phone number and an sms code will be sent to u,which u will input into the form to enable them verify ur phone number before u can continue with the process The issue now is after putting ur phone number u will Waite all day for sms code and it will not com. I have to call the school on phone to speak with them on the issue and the guy told me they have been having same issue with international student particularly Nigeria. So he advise I send an email for the application so they can help me apply for me manually which I did but did not get any response and I even call several time after sending the mail but they refused to pickup.
The other incident, I did all the filling only for me to receive the code no way. So I send and email to the school if there is anyway they can rectify it but no response..
Pls I want to ask if anyone can help on this situation cos am planning for February intake.

You don't need to provide any document unless stated by the embassy. It is the school that would request such, not the embassy. The embassy requires your Certificate of Eligibility (COE). Except Nigerians don use POF begin dey deceive Japanese universities. 🙄

You can’t go into a meeting with a professor with mere words. It wont fly, he won't even get your points. You would fail miserably to impress.

So, I will advise to make a presentation with at most 3 slides.
Share slides with Professor 1-2 hours before re-schedule zoom meeting.

Regarding the recruiter.
Well done here.
Try to understand from the recruiter point of view.
Recruiter does not have Job for you. He is not the company.
However, recruiter has personal access to companies probably IT companies.
So recruiter would go to these companies to say the following in summary:

Hello, it is me again, your good friend, Mr recruiter.
I have a good candidate for you. His profile is strong and good. He will fit right into your company smoothly.
However, he is not Japanese and can’t even say one word in Japanese, not even Ohayo.
Also, he is not in Japan, so visa required bla bla …you get the gist her as well.

so while also targeting recuriters, also target companies directly.

A registered Japanese Language school is actually one of the major routes to legally enter Japan. Those free language studies aren't realistic or feasible in learning Japanese and don't offer a resident permit. Japanese language schools offer COE to successfully admitted students and have a strong network for part time jobs. Those at the free language centres by prefectures already have resident permits (I enrolled in one as a student). Language schools don't accept foreigners with a resident permit unless permanent residency, spousal visa or long term residents.

The issue with language schools in admitting foreigners especially non-East Asians would be age. Cameroonians have it better as there's a Japanese language school there and some of them move here after passing N3. But for a tyro, e go hard. So if one is below say 27 years, then the chances of being admitted by a language school is high. Above 30 and without at least N3, e go hard.

You will also get part-time working rights as a student.
Freedom to rent apartment.

There way better legal ways than asylum.
Asylum guys cant rent apartment and really get jobs even part time.

But why u dey lie for people to fear na. I stay in Lublin and people can still work when they study. All they need to get is a work permit that any job can process for intending workers.

There are jobs like tech, customer care support that guarantees your stay after school and there also some menial student jobs like food delivery, taxi, factory jobs, restaurant jobs and also summer jobs eg berry picking and some other industries that are available to get you the money till you get a better job offer

This journey na bit by bit, get the visa first and every other thing will begin to align

But my important advice to everyone is to get that Nigerian driver license before coming

To Ace your Duolingo test visit YouTube, watch Duolingo test videos from (last minute English) he is a good tutor, also download DET app practice as much as you can, Secondly pls get a WiFi for your test, make sure the internet connection is stable, because once the internet connection is bad your exam page can close up half way and you'll need to start all over again it can be tiring n frustrating.. Send her to the UK to start work and she would slowly progress her career, whilst in the UK.....

If you have family members in the UK, she can start by squatting with them(not for too long), till she fully settles in.....

Even if you japa, you would still experience things based on your inability to plan ahead or plan for the known and unknown variables. In Atlanta, if you don't leave for work before 6:30am or after 10am, you are bound to encounter delays, if you drive during rainy season or winter, you're bound to be delayed by car wrecks. Depending on the type of vehicle you drive and the neighborhood, police go dey stop you on the regular especially if you're the type that forgets to buckle up or you love speeding

Depending on where you live in the USA, you're bound to experience hurricane or tornadoes causing electricity outage for a week or longer, you can be homeless in a blink of en eye if disaster strikes.

Depending on the city you live, you might be battling with gunshots and mad people, oh let's not forget you that love driving your vehicle on almost empty, e sure die you go need your fuel tpump replaced or fuel line flushed, no road side mechanic like 9ja wey go charge you cheap labor o, for here it could cost you anywhere from $1000 (1.7 milla).

Now now, you might be thinking haba shebi na to get abroad and gbam high income jobs dey await me for backyard........Not so fast Simba .

The probability of you getting an office job with a good pay within your first 3 years is less than 10% without connections. What is more likely is that you'll end up doing more blue collar jobs to make ends meet while you live with a rommate or a one bed apartment, you'll work your job or jobs just to be able to pay bills and forget savings o, na survival mode you go dey especially for UK, if you be woman you go find sympathy but if you be man even dogs go dey bark you until you make am!

Finally, yes 9ja is a terrible place and japa is a MUST for those who can see the writing on the wall but thread softly, not all japas are created equal. Arm yourself with as much information and resources as possible, know the laws and the place you want to japa, set realistic expectations and be prepared to work three times as hard as you're currently.....MAY THE ODDS FAVOR YOU!
