A registered Japanese Language school is actually one of the major routes to legally enter Japan. Those free language studies aren't realistic or feasible in learning Japanese and don't offer a resident permit. Japanese language schools offer COE to successfully admitted students and have a strong network for part time jobs. Those at the free language centres by prefectures already have resident permits (I enrolled in one as a student). Language schools don't accept foreigners with a resident permit unless permanent residency, spousal visa or long term residents.

The issue with language schools in admitting foreigners especially non-East Asians would be age. Cameroonians have it better as there's a Japanese language school there and some of them move here after passing N3. But for a tyro, e go hard. So if one is below say 27 years, then the chances of being admitted by a language school is high. Above 30 and without at least N3, e go hard.

You will also get part-time working rights as a student.
Freedom to rent apartment.

There way better legal ways than asylum.
Asylum guys cant rent apartment and really get jobs even part time.

But why u dey lie for people to fear na. I stay in Lublin and people can still work when they study. All they need to get is a work permit that any job can process for intending workers.

There are jobs like tech, customer care support that guarantees your stay after school and there also some menial student jobs like food delivery, taxi, factory jobs, restaurant jobs and also summer jobs eg berry picking and some other industries that are available to get you the money till you get a better job offer

This journey na bit by bit, get the visa first and every other thing will begin to align

But my important advice to everyone is to get that Nigerian driver license before coming

To Ace your Duolingo test visit YouTube, watch Duolingo test videos from (last minute English) he is a good tutor, also download DET app practice as much as you can, Secondly pls get a WiFi for your test, make sure the internet connection is stable, because once the internet connection is bad your exam page can close up half way and you'll need to start all over again it can be tiring n frustrating.. The probability of you getting an office job with a good pay within your first 3 years is less than 10% without connections. What is more likely is that you'll end up doing more blue collar jobs to make ends meet while you live with a rommate or a one bed apartment, you'll work your job or jobs just to be able to pay bills and forget savings o, na survival mode you go dey especially for UK, if you be woman you go find sympathy but if you be man even dogs go dey bark you until you make am!

Finally, yes 9ja is a terrible place and japa is a MUST for those who can see the writing on the wall but thread softly, not all japas are created equal.
