As an anesthetist. He had a poultry large poultry farm and did crop farming as side business. This is a poultry farm that had close to 10,000 birds and was doing well and he was comfortable. His wife also worked as a staff of one of the highest paying companies-Cocoabod.

Dude woke up one day and said he was leaving all these behind, including his wife and 2 kids to travel to America to go "hustle."

He told me he worked in Winter and his fingers froze from the cold.


Scenario 2 is another friend that recently traveled sometime in the middle of last year. This one also had a good job, an 11 acres peice of land where he did pig farming as side business (he even gave me about 3 acres from the part he wasn't using on which I planted maize and okra last 2 years) he had property a wife and recently had a kid.


This one called me just early this year telling me he was now in America looking for a job.

He told me he recently got a job, he didn't disclose the type of job. But I suspect it's one of those unskilled jobs. He was telling me recently when we chatted how he had to work and was paying the person whose paper he was using to work.

He said something like he was saving money for now to get his own papers and couldn't even afford to get a decent bedsheet for now. He didn't want to open up on many things but I could sense his struggles.


My question is why would someone be doing fairly or averagely okay in their own country and decide to travel to another country not to go work as skilled or start a business but to go do demeaning unskilled labor work.

Why would I leave my country where I live almost as a king to go live in a rat race.


I can never understand that.

Another person was confiding in me recently that he wanted to travel to the US. This is someone that has a small factory, into iron rod sales and construction business. I just looked at him and told him not to do it. He should focus on growing his business and I used the other 2 people I mentioned earlier as examples.

If I want to travel to the US or any other country it's to go flex, explore, or look for bigger business opportunities and not to go hustle and start from the scratch.

That said, if you walk into any Federal Teaching Hospital today, you'd find that Pharmacy is probably the most useless department amongst the clinical. They are basically dispensers and the task they carry out can easily be performed by anyone who has same access to the doctors prescriptions and knows his way around the shelves of medications. Even the porters assisting the pharmacists, sometimes step in to assist.

In some, Pharmacists aren't even allowed to swap a brand of prescription let alone prescribe by themselves.

I have transited using Beijing airport and Singapore airports using my Naija passport without issues. You can get 24hrs visa upon arrival 😀 in china if you wish to see the beauty of china while i await my connecting flight to Nagoya or you can stay at the airport if you don't feel like going out of the airport. But in Singapore i stayed at the airport. As long as you don't want to leave the airport you won't have any issues cos the airline knows how it works
Advising him to take bullet train looks very expensive and remember you will need to pay extra luggage if your luggage exceed 20kg which is very expensive unless upon arrival you can take the bullet train and waybill your luggage to your apartment using yamato delivery company that is less expensive 🫰, you can do that at 7-Eleven or familymart. Alternatively you can take night bus (cheapest means). Please try to be economical in spending since you are coming to Japan new.
It will be advisable to get the direct flight to your final destination which will be of great advantageous to you and if you currently residing in Lagos,I will advise you to visit Qatar airline office in Victoria island or at the airport they will give you the best advice. If you residing in Abuja, kindly visit their office or there stand at the airport. My little advice for you since you are new to Japan

When I submitted my visa application, I did not include a statement of account or proof of funds. I only sent those documents to my school's immigration department when they were preparing my CoE application.
At the time, I had $2,500 in my USD account and approximately ₦2.5 million in my Naira account.
For any category of visa application, all the information you need is available on the Japan Embassy website.

Let me also add that anyone who wants to submit an application should not bother taking passport photographs beforehand, as the VFS officers receiving your application will reject them and ask you to use the photographer inside the hall. Their passport photographs cost a little over ₦6,000

the 80m is my annual turnover not income,
I didn't do account padding. I sell tiles and tiles accessories , i submitted 6months of my personal account statement.. I don't have business account, and since i started this business i only use my personal acct for my business... Secondly i don't have any travel history the main reason of me traveling to uk is to visit my brother who his wife just gave birth.. I don't have any intentions of overstaying... Thirdly, do i need to explain all the whole money that came into my acct? I have more than "twenty" 2m naira deposit.. U knw tiles business is all about huge amount of money and i added all the whole invoice .. Pls advice me on what to do so that i wont make another mistake when next i apply. Thanks and God bless
