*** PATIENCE; A VERY RARE BUT GREAT VIRTUE (WHOEVER HAD PATIENCE HAD EVERYTHING) ***

Every heavenly minded Christian that wants to go far in any venture be it business, career, ministry, marriage and otherwise needs to imbibe PATIENCE, one of the virtuous fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Patience refers to the ability to stay calm and accept a delay or something annoying without complaining. You cannot have victory over your enemies if you do not learn to wait patiently for the Lord. Neither will you have many of the things God has ordained for you without patience. Patience, faith and persistence are all that one needs to achieve a successful Christian life.

In the art of sowing and reaping, it requires only a patience person to sow his/her seeds, water them, weed them, and wait patiently for the time of harvest in order to reap a bountiful reward. The Scripture made it clear that, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”. Impatience people on the other hand just want to sow, harvest and reap the reward now now now (immediately).

Impatience has caused many great Ministers of God not to finish their calling; hence they compromise or end their ministry on the way. A real minister must allow trials, challenges and tribulation to produce patience in him (ROMANS 5:3-5). Many have snared themselves through lots of pains and sorrows because of impatience towards acquisition of wealth, power and fame.

The recent Ponzi scheme saga which affected many of their participants including pastors, learned people, even acclaimed prophets/prophetess, seers, diviners, sorcerers etc, can be tailored to lack of patience. Assuming they invested their money in agriculture(fish farming, livestock farming), and exercise patience for 4-8 months so as to harvest and reap their rewards, that would have saved many of them from the headache, pains and trauma of losing their hard earned money just like that.
The Scripture admonishes us thus, “… LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE, LOOKING UNTO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH… (HEBREWS 12:1-3).

Most youths nowadays does not want to humble themselves by bending down to read/study, acquisition of skills in a particular business/trade or learn a good handiwork. Instead you will see them getting involved in dubious means (internet fraud, robbery, assassination, 419, occultism, prostitution,etc), ritual killings or sacrifices for wealth. Many don’t want to soil their hands with hardwork before reaping the reward. America that almost everybody wants to travel to was built on manual labour with hardwork and commitment during her creation.

Please, whatsoever thy hands findeth to do, do it with thy might…so that through it, your Heavenly Father will bless and reward you honourable. Remember the adage that says, “A PATIENCE DOG EATS THE FATTEST BONE”…SHALOM!!!

The main reason people indulge in sin, wickedness and evil is because they lack the fear of God. Any man or woman that lacks the fear of God is as dangerous as demons. The person can do and undo. It is the lack of fear of God that gives people the boldness to commit sin willfully and appear in church the next morning to sing in the choir, serve as usher, engage in sanitation, do security work, teach or even preach in the altar, defiling the temple of God without remorse. Many countries are lagging behind in development because they do not have God fearing leaders. We have churches that are not bold to preach against evil and wickedness, and call sins by their names because they are afraid of losing their congregation.

Lots of families are in shambles today because they lack the fear of God. When you have a husband that does not fear God, he will do those things that can harm his family, spiritually, physically, financially and otherwise, without hesitation. A wife that lacks fear of God is a thorn in the flesh to her husband and bad example to her children. It is lack of fear of God that we have kidnappers, ritual killers, prostitutes, robbers, 419ners, and even hypocritical believers. It is lack of fear of God that makes a brother/sister to conspire or gang-up with others against his follow brethren to destroy him/her. It is lack of fear of God that a girl will go after married men. It is the lack of fear of God that makes a born-again Christian to go late for church. This is not healthy at all for our Christian life.

The fear of God is very vital if we are to run heavenly race and finish it to obtain our crown of glory. If we understand the value of our calling, we will make the fear of God our watchword, and resist every sin that will disqualify us from holy living and the standard of God. That means doing things that will bring glory to our maker; to show forth the praise of God.

There are benefits of having and living with the fear of God. Such benefits are that God will endow you with divine and pure wisdom; you will become the “APPLE OF HIS EYES AND BEFORE GOD CARRIES OUT ANY ACTIVITY, HE WILL FIRST REVEAL IT TO YOU”. Also, God will come to your aid whenever you run into danger; your affairs will be upmost in God’s agenda, the fear of God will equally preserve you in these evil days. His special blessings that makes rich and adds no sorrows are not left behind…SHALOM!!!

Due to the proliferation of evil, many people on earth do not believe in divine love. Even those who are saved have a difficult time believing. Even those who have seen divine love have difficulty believing all the time. God is love; the love of God is divine, pure, holy and perfect love.

Devil has polluted the divine love of God to mean different thing whereby every form of debauchery, lust and immoral affections/feelings are acceptable and viewed as an art of true love. This can be seen among:

 Those into pre-marital sex/fornication
 Adultery among married men/women
 Men that indulges into homosexuals
 Lesbianism among women
 Pedophilia, being sexually attracted to children/minors
 Bestiality, sexual attraction between human and animal
 Incest among relations (brother and sister, father and daughter, mother and son, cousins etc).

“THOSE WHOSE IMAGINATIONS, THOUGHTS AND FANTASIES ARE FULL OF FILTHINESS AND EVIL”.

Imagine a situation where a sister with an innocent and pure heart compliments a fellow brother in the Lord by saying, “MY BELOVED, I LOVE YOU”, another person with dirty and polluted heart will be like, “ah ah ah, I said it, this brother/sister are having secret affairs,” and if time is not taken, it will become the gossip topic for that period. HMMM, PLEASE WHAT HAPPENED TO AGAPE LOVE

When the Bible speaks of people being clothed in Righteousness (ISAIAH 61:10), it is not referring to literal clothing but rather to people who have the love of God in them, love the truth and live according to it and not the other way round.

There is this adage that says “THERE IS LOVE IN SHARING”. Conversely, many misunderstand/misinterpret it to suit them or justify their lifestyle. They perceive the sharing there to be:

 Sharing of your wife/husband with you,
 Sharing of your body/bed
 Sharing of your wealth/money etc.
What happened to sharing of knowledge, ideas, gifts, experiences, talents etc

Of course, there is love in sharing but it depends on what exactly you are sharing, whether it is according to the will of God and to His Glory or vice versa.
Out of love for the world, God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for the redemption of mankind from sin and evil. (NOTE: JESUS HAS PAID THE FINAL SACRIFICES FOR ALL SINS, JOHN 3:16, JOHN 19:30).

This is so you may know that the love of God and testimony of Jesus are truth, and then it becomes a passion as you feel a deep love for each truth…SHALOM!!!

# TRUE AND DIVINE LOVE SPRINGS FORTH FROM GOD ALMIGHTY #

Usually, we hear a statement like this, “APPEARANCE CAN BE DECEPTIVE”. In order words, you do not judge the value or worth of a thing by the facial look! A man or woman might be fine or beautiful outside but inside, he or she is a scorpion, snake or a monster. Many people are good in faking their feelings with their actions. And so if you have anything to do with such an individual because of their physical appearance or fake actions, you might be in for the worst mistake in your life.

A man deceived a believing sister into marriage by camouflaging to be a follow believer, God fearing and lover of the things of God. Being ignorant of the wiles of the enemy, the sister got attracted to the fake lifestyle and evil gifts the man always showers on her. She failed to seek the face of God and His Will concerning the relationship. As this brother keeps having strong influence on the sister with his demonic antics, the sister got entangled in his fake personality and she accepted marriage proposal from him.

It was not more than three months after their wedding that the sister started realizing that she had made the worst mistake of her life marrying that man without seeking the face of God. The man was a fraudster, murderer and pathological womanizer. Anything that depicts evil and wickedness is found in the man. He was an agent sent to seduce and pull the sister out of faith and bring her down. And she foolishly felled for the devilish ploy. Being satisfied of achieving his evil and wicked mission and putting a dent in the sister’s reputation and destiny, the man filed for divorce and dumped the sister. That was how the marriage ended.

Many people sell their properties including any portion of land they have, gather the money and travel overseas for greener pastures. They arrived the foreign land only to find out that Nigeria is better than where they have travelled to, morally and otherwise. Most times, these people became disillusioned and ended up in crimes, some don’t come back alive and if God be so kind, when they come back alive, they start from square one.

A particular brother deported from one of the foreign land narrated how he wasted many years of his life over there by ending up as a Homosexual and intimacy gadget in the hands of dare devils that calls themselves the Elite in that country.
After spending several years in a foreign land, a man returned back home as a pauper without tangible achievements. While most of his mate that he left when he was travelling were all well established and doing great in their various fields of study. The worst and dehumanizing experience he encountered at the course of obtaining the foreign certificates of that country (because his own country certificate was not recognized) landed him becoming a homosexual, all in a bid to survive.

A former ritualist and 419 fraudster made a shocking confession that they usually travel to foreign countries in order to stay off from public attention and scrutiny, while their main consignments and dubious enterprises comes from their own country home. “ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD”.
It is worth knowing that a person or a place may be good looking, having an attractive character and opportunities, but they may not really possess any genuine talent or ability respectively. They can even turn out to be without moral principles and honest.

As a child of God, pray that God will deliver you from the flashy things of this life and you will not be influenced by people but by what God says. The steps of the righteous man are directed by the Lord; also ask God to direct your steps so that you will not make any mistake…SHALOM!!!

People are led astray by many flashy things they see around them. Majority of these flashy things are fake and can never stand the test of time. "YOU DO NOT JUDGE THE VALUE OF A THING BY THE FACIAL LOOK".

Many married men and women are divorced today because of fake lifestyles their friends, neighbors and relatives put up to deceive them and cause them to lose focus. A particular woman divorced her husband due to the negative influence of a demonic agent pretending to be her friend had on her. It happened that this her friend will always be showing off the things she claimed her husband bought for her, how the husband gives her the whole world without reservation. She succeeded in cajoling the ignorant woman to believe that her own husband is not man and good enough for her especially in taking care of her. In fact, she concluded that her Godly and hardworking husband is now an irresponsible man. She ended up following the foot steps of the evil friend, putting up bad characters and detestable attitudes and behaviors towards her husband and children. And that later caused her marriage to crash.

A wise woman that has the mind of building her home should never be carried away by any fake friends and their fake lifestyles. A closer look at these fake friends will reveal to you that they are not really what they claimed to be. Most of these women acquired those things through adulterous and dubious means. As a Child of God, you don’t need to be deceived by all these flashy things, for anyone who is deceived by them is gullible, greedy and not wise. And I think the worst mistake a person can make in life is the mistake of marriage because it is a life time contract.

Similarly, many people especially the youth crave for University education because their friends, neighbors or relatives are going to school. Youth, I want you to understand that it is an excellent thing to go to school (University) but bear it at the back of your mind that going to school is not always the ultimate. The most important thing for you to do is to go to God in prayers and know where He is leading you. The Scripture said, "IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE GOD AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS (PROVERB 3:6)".

My brother/sister, failure to seek the counsel of God before entering any particular venture can lead you to destruction (PROVERB 16:25). Your success in life is not determined by the number of higher education certificates you acquire. Whatever God wants you to be, you will be that thing with or without university certificate.

Note, you do not judge the value of a thing by the facial or outward looks. It is only through prayers you can obtain divine direction from God. “LET GOD DIRECT YOU BECAUSE APPEARANCE CAN BE DECEPTIVE…SHALOM!!!

# FAKE THINGS WILL ATTRACT AS MANY GULLIBLE, GREEDY AND UNWISE PEOPLE AS THEY CAN FIND #

The trend on how lots of people are changing their natural skin colour into white or yellow in the name of toning/bleaching is very alarming, crazy and even shameful. Many are made to believe that the whiter or yellow they appear, the more acceptable they are in the society and the better its prestige value is supposed to be. Some goes on to say that any colour or shade less than white/yellow is “INFERIOR”, hence if it happens to be brown, black or chocolate, it is certainly primitive or old fashioned and does not fit in to what is in vogue. " I CALL THAT LACK OF SELF-CONFIDENCE ".

When one fondly bleaches with any preparation made with harmful chemicals/substances, they are only taking a step towards ruining their divine nature and health.
Take for instance, the wheat from which flour is made is stripped of all its nutrients (proteins, minerals, vitamins etc) in the course of processing it and its left with nothing but starch containing calories. So as you repeatedly abuse your natural colour with all the toxic chemicals in toning or bleaching substances, they keeps on building up and manifests itself in chronic form and disastrous form in future.

At the initial stage when one starts toning/bleaching, the outer layer of the skin is been eroded/washed off thereby exposing the inner dermis (skin) to Ultra violet rays. This brings about body decay/odour and lots of health hazards like skin cancer, ulcers, stretch marks, eczema etc. That is the reason why many people that bleaches always apply/wear perfumes in order to hide the unpleasant odours emitting from their body. As time goes by, the body system is bound to give way and break down one day.
It is written, “CAN THE ETHIOPIA CHANGE HIS SKIN, OR THE LEOPARD HIS SPOTS? THEN MAY YE ALSO DO GOOD, THAT ARE ACCUSTOMED TO DO EVIL (JEREMIAH 13:23)”.
The most annoying and foolish part of it is that apart from these substances causing havoc on your health, your pocket/purse is not spared. You will notice that you are wasting your hard earned money on something that will cause harm to your health and also take you to hospital, where you will also spend money for hospital bills.

Are you into bleaching, please stop it and seek for God’s mercy and His restoration of your lost glory; and if you are planning to start toning/bleaching your skin, remove such evil thoughts from your mind. You are fearfully and wonderfully made…(PSALM 139:14). You are God’s master piece, so please don’t mock God through your lifestyle.

WHEN YOU SUCCEED IN BECOMING WHITE/YELLOW OVER NIGHT, ASK YOURSELF WHETHER YOUR CREATOR (GOD) WILL BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE YOU IF YOU DIE IN SUCH AN ARTIFICIAL AND ADULTERATED STATE.

One secret the devil who is a counterfeit/artificial does not want you to know is this, “ WHEN YOUR NATURE IS VERY STRONG, IT REFLECTS THE GLORY OF GOD; DEVIL WILL DARE NOT TAMPER WITH YOU. AS A REASON, HE WILL BE VERY FAR FROM YOU…SHALOM!!!

*** PRAYER DELAYED IS NOT PRAYER DENIED ***

Beloved, if you have been knocking at the gate of mercy and have not received any answer; let it not be known to you that the Almighty God has not opened the door and let you in. God often delays in answering some prayers. Our Heavenly Father has reasons peculiar to himself for keeping us waiting. Sometimes it is to show His power and His Sovereignty, that men may know that Jehovah has a right to give or to withhold. More frequently the delay is for our profit.

We have several instances of this in the Scripture. Jacob did not get the blessings from the angel until near the dawn of day when he had to wrestle all night for it (GENESIS 32:24-30). Paul besought the Lord three times that “THE THORN IN THE FLESH” might be taken from him, and he received no assurance that it should be taken away, but instead thereof a promise that God’s grace should be sufficient for him (2CORINTHIANS 12:7-9). Job spoke on waiting on the Lord till his change come when he proclaimed, “IF A MAN DIES, SHALL HE LIVE AGAIN? ALL THE DAYS OF MY APPOINTED TIME WILL I WAIT TILL MY CHANGE COME (JOB 14:14).

The reason you are perhaps kept waiting may be for your desires to be more fervent. God knows that delay will quicken and increase your desire, and that if He keeps you waiting, you will see the necessity more clearly, and will seek more earnestly and then will prize God’s mercy all the more for its long tarrying (2PETER 3:9).

God may also tarry because there may be something wrong in you which has need to be removed, before the joy of the Lord is given according to ISAIAH 30:18-19. “AND THEREFORE WILL THE LORD WAIT, THAT HE MAY BE GRACIOUS UNTO YOU, AND THEREFORE WILL HE BE EXALTED, THAT HE MAY HAVE MERCY UPON YOU; FOR THE LORD IS A GOD OF JUDGEMENT: BLESSED ARE ALL THEY THAT WAIT FOR HIM”. Perhaps your view about life and certain things are confusing or you may be placing some little reliance on yourself, your qualifications and wisdom instead of trusting simply and entirely to the Lord Jesus. Or, God has decided to make you tarry awhile so that He may display fully the riches of His grace to you at last.

My beloved, whichever be the case, your prayers may have gotten to heaven, but not answered immediately does not mean it has been forgotten. With faith, in a while answer shall be given to it to your satisfaction. Let not despair make you silent, but continue in earnest supplication…SHALOM!!!

# DELAYED GRATIFICATION ALWAYS LEADS TO GLORIOUS END #

A particular man that confessed his terrible deal with devil and kingdom of darkness shared his experiences and their mode of operation in unleashing evil/wickedness on innocent girls/women (especially the anointed ones) and their other victims. Prior to his initiation, he was a vibrant and committed Christian with a renowned Pentecostal Church in town. Then, he had a very good and sweet relationship with God, with a great manifestation of God’s glory in his life and ministry. With the way God was using him, people started commending him, telling him how powerful and over anointed he has became, some showering him with gifts and other goodies.

On the line, something happened. There was a conspiracy among evil personalities to pull him down, scare away the Holy Spirit and take away the glory of God from him. Being carried away with peoples praises and pleasantries, “PRIDE” gradually took its root in the brother’s heart. The devil, who knows most believers weak points, also dispatched his female agents to go and seduce the brother and lure him into fornication. Because the brother felt that he has arrived in the things of God, he was not spiritually sensitive enough to decode the traps and pits the enemies were setting for him in order to take heed and remain steadfast, the arrow of immorality caught up with him, he entered their trap and commit fornication with one of the devil's agent. That was how he lost the Glory of God, his salvation, power, ministry and anointing on the laps of a strange woman.

Been aware that the Glory of God has departed from him, he is now empty vessel, he refused to confess his sin immediately and seek for God’s mercy and restoration. Instead, he hardened his heart and decided to work for devil, pledging allegiance to satan, with the mission:“TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY.

TARGET: ANYTHING ON SKIRT (WOMEN ESPECIALLY THE ANOINTED ONE’S).

METHOD: SPIRITUAL SEDUCTION WITH TOUCH AND FOLLOW.

LOCATION: CHURCHES AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS.

REWARD: MONEY, POWER, FAME.

As we know that the gift of devil has always been bring head and collect head, the young man was placed under the yoke of flirting around with different women, indulging in homosexual but to would remain single or unmarried. Any day he violates the oath and got married, he will run mad or die. That is how the gifts of devil rolls, " REWARDS FILLED WITH SORROWS AND PAINS”.

With such yokes placed upon him, he further hardened and sealed his heart for devil, vowed that any woman that crosses his way or enters his trap must have a taste of the hell he is going through.

If he wants to influence any anointed woman of God or pull her down, spiritually, he will manipulate the victim through his seductive powers, then comes physically to touch her with those his occultic devilish hands. If the victim is not strong and deeply rooted in the Lord, the person will fall for his touch and follow him suit to be defiled. This man had succeeded in ruining many of his victims destinies, rendering many of them useless, taking away their stars which according to him, he uses to shine and excel.

Ignorant and foolish girls follows this particular brother in the church with the believe that he is still in right standing with God due to the high sensitive position he occupies in the church, and projects a clean image to mask himself.

He continued in these hideous and evil practices, wasting his years and strength as a man on women’s laps. Marriage was a story for him despite the pressure and tensions coming from friends and families that almost all his mates are married with children, but he still remained single.
Unfortunately, he became ill and was diagnose of a terminal sickness. He was dying slowly. He got the money, power, fame, but there was a very big void in him that all of his acquisitions cannot occupy and fill. “HE WAS DYING WITHOUT A WIFE, CHILDREN OR FAMILY THAT WILL PRESERVE HIS NAME AND INHERIT HIS VAST ACQUISITIONS, HIS GENERATION WILL BE WIPED OFF FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH___WHAT A POOR SOUL AND WASTED LIFE”. It was at his hospital bed that he recounted all his wicked, evil and atrocities, confessing and pleading for God’s mercy. He gave up the ghost after his confessions and restitution.

As a Christian, in your walk with the Lord, always make it a habit to be confessing your sins to God day and night, pleading for His mercies for both known and unknown sins, conscious or unconscious ones, and also asking for His abundant grace to stand firm in the face of trials and temptations because temptations and trials must surely come. It is when you fall into them that it becomes sin. It is better to confess and forsake your sins, be at peace with God and preserve your relationship with Him than to harden your heart because of your ego thereby destroying your relationship with God and winding up in hell. It is written, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (ROMANS 3:23). Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (ISAIAH 1:18). Do not harden your heart least you become a reprobate in mind, before you will get back on your feet, lots of things might have spoiled…SHALOM!!!

# WHEREFORE LET HIM THAT THINKETH HE STANDETH TAKE HEED LEST HE FALL (1 CORINTHIANS 10:12) #

*** CONFESSION, THE SECRET TO PRAYERS THAT BRINGS REVIVAL/CHANGE ***

Confession is a very important element in prayers, not just for those praying the sinner’s prayer for salvation, but for Christians in studying biblical accounts of reconciliation and making peace with Almighty God of Creation. When we make confession to God, we are not practicing charity, “NO.” We are only catering to our enlightened self interest. It cuts grief by half, and bitterness of heart.

Examples abound in the scripture such as;
 When Isaiah cried out, “I am undone” (Isaiah 6:5), that was when a live coal was taken from the altar and put on his lips. He proceeded to write one of the greatest books ever written.
 When David confessed his sin, the Lord had mercy on him. David found pardon and restoration when he said to God, “I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me… (Psalm 51:3-4).

Many of the world’s greatest revivals occurred when people mourned before God, confessed and forsake their sins. When we bare our souls before God, we can expect to see our prayers answered.

Most times, it is an individual that subjects himself to an unbefitting status due to low self esteem, compromise, lack of faith and fear of unknown. Such an individual acts based on circumstances around him. He lacks self-confidence in himself and trust in God, thus he does not really have a choice or know what he need, so anything goes for him.

A woman who pretended to be a believer was desperately trying to attach herself to a particular sister in the church because she saw into her future through witchcraft divinations. Unknown to sister, this marine agent went behind her and used her reply to pass judgment against her. Before you know it, the sister became very sick, if not by the special grace of God and His mercies, she would have died from the sickness. If she had kept mute or said the truth, the spell or judgment would not have influenced her.

Most times when satan sees that you have renounced him, he can instigate his agents to come after you with questions aimed at causing you to sin, hence making you backslide. If you don’t know what to say to these recalcitrant agents of devil, keep mute or close your mouth. Because when you try to provide answers to them, you might begin to stammer and before you know it, more of such questions will come. At the end, you will be confused. And once you agree with him (devil), you have started backsliding.

That was exactly what happened to Eve in the garden of Eden according to the Scripture in Genesis 3:1-5. If Eve had not opened her mouth to answer satan in the first place, she would not have heard, " Yeah shall not surely die,…then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods…” The quest for her eyes to open and be as gods made her to eat the forbidden fruit, thereby giving the serpent dominion over mankind. These satanic cohorts assigned to monitor the child of God may be his colleagues, business partners, neighbors, friends and family member and even church members that are out to strip the person of God’s glory. As you are spirit filled, you are target of the devil for temptation. In fact, the more spiritual and righteous you are as a child of God, the more you are tempted by the devil.

The glory of the world is the most charming temptation to the unthinking and unwary. It is the wiles of satan to take advantage of our challenging condition to tempt us. He tempted Jesus Christ with the offer of the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them ( MATHEW 4:1-11 ). Satan’s aim was to bring Jesus to sin against God, so that He will be despaired of His Father’s goodness and distrust His Father’s care concerning him. That is why those who are brought into challenging situation must double their guard because they will surely play host to this antics of the devil.

We must not take any wrong courses for our supply when our needs are pressing because that will give advantage to the devil to tempt us. As believers, we must always depend on God for all our provision since we are confident that our God will in some way or another supply our needs (Philippians 4:19).
We must be very watchful and prayerful particularly in the house of God for satan has no respect even in Holy places. He tempts worshipers even in worship ground so that he would distract or discourage them from listening to sermon, cause them to sleep or engage into discussion while worship and message is going on.
Devil also tempt men to pride, children to be disobedient, men and women to lust, leaders to steal, members to involve in immoral acts etc. Holy places are now slippery places for power tussle and where satan shoots his fiery darts at everyone.

So, we must be very careful so as not to fall into temptation. If you fall into temptation and commit sin, you have lost your focus. It is good to be quick and firm in resisting temptation. Avoid distractors and discouragers especially in the church and learn to focus on God. Temptations must come on daily basis but it is left for you to know that you are a Christian running to make heaven at last and resist every temptation and God will see you through in Jesus Name…AMEN!!!

In his quest to have everything to himself, he can claim what is not his, this leads to many evils. A covetous man can not be a good shepherd of the sheep. Instead of such a man feeding the sheep, he will be feeding on the sheep.
Selfishness and carnality are the major causes of consciousness.

Beloved, one of the most hateful and destructive sins in this life is the supreme love of the things of this world, or of that power, and influence which money will procure. A Christian should avoid this sin as he would stay clear of the snare of the devil or the door of hell. God warns against Covetousness because any person who is covetous is not of God and hence cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

As a Christian dedicated to the service of God and His glory, kindly endeavor to avoid the sin of covetousness that war against your soul because you have chosen to take heavenly things as your inheritance. Let not earthly things be the object of your delight and love, but follow after spiritual riches, namely: Righteousness and godliness, faith and love, patience and meekness (1 TIMOTHY 6:11).

Follow the godliness which gives contentment with raiment, the faith which assures us of a better and more enduring substance, the righteousness or justice which requires us to let every man enjoy his own and which shows a thorough conformity to the image of God and mind of Christ, follow that love which makes us willing to distribute, that patience which makes us willing to submit to a low condition, meekness which suppresses wrath against those that are injurious to us. All these virtues are indications of mind free from covetousness, and infallible preservations.

Therefore we should avoid covetousness and go after righteousness. It is only righteousness that can take us to heaven. No amount of your wealth will be taken beyond this planet because you brought nothing into this world, and we can not take anything out of this world. Make sure that you maintain decency and fairness in all your dealings with others. Remember, you are called to lay hold on eternal life so that you will be with Him at last in Heaven... SHALOM!!!
