I am married to mbaise guy and our marriage has been sweet. Everything about them is individual and family. My husband is and has been a very wonderful man. But I know very well, even some parents from the same IMO state rejects mbaise people and I don't know the reason why. But the little I observed is that, make sure the guy is ready and willing to stand by you when the heat comes because their women are troublesome. They will keep on looking for reasons to hate you. Another thing is that, they are money conscious like the marriage is all about their family. They have that attitude of give us; give us and not regarding your own family. The day I got married to my husband, everything would have gone wrong if not because I have an understanding family and my husband who really loved me. And the way my village people were looking at me as if i am being sold to slavery hmmnn. When you are married to them as a wife, know your right, your boundary, when to talk to them or ignore them. Study the family your going to like book and you will leave peacefully with them. I fought that battle with my mother in law and my husband sisters and I won. Today, my mother in law will call me her sweet daughter. Everything is like film. When are married to mbaise man trade with caution but their men are really nice and sweet |
I used to be an Anglican But joined my husband to Roman Catholic church after are wedding. I have been trying so hard to understand their doctrines. Today's service during the Holy Eucharist I was moved to participate since I was a strong communicant too while I was in the Anglican church. To my surprise, the Rev. Father asked me to get up and go without giving me the communion. I was so so embarrassed then looked up to understand why, he said I did not perform the sign of the cross. I have no option than to leave without words. I was so down and confused of what wrong I did commit to warrant such humiliation. I am still thinking if I will ever step my foot there again. |
Need answers please.......... Mention and explain the basic grammatical parts that can serve as integral components of a grammatical statements? |
I am 29 years of age, female, I have been working for years now to take care of myself and my family as well, I have been dreaming of furthering my education. I have wrote jamb several years with no admission even when I got high score with hopes that I ll gain admission in one of the universities, it did not work out as I planned. Its has been so frustrating to me but I have never for a day kill that dream of going to school. Now, I see an International University in Uganda that is offering good courses and its a three years programme that I want to go for. My elder sister, who is a graduate, aslo married is opposing my decision seriously, that she ll not support me and that nobody in my family is going to support me. Also she is trying to blackmail me using my mother. That how is my mother going to feel if she learn that I am planning to leave nigeria just to acquire certificate. I know my mother loves me very much among her daughters but I don't want that to stop me from achieving my dream. Secondly, she is telling me at my age, I should be thinking of marriage and getting a handwork. But to me, I don't see how three years programme ll stop me from achieving others things maybe marriage as that is her primary concern. Please I need a quick response on these as it is causing me a sleepless night. |
This is bothering me seriously. I need some advise if it is proper for two sisters to marry to one family, not to one person but two brothers from one family. uduoyibo: This is bothering me seriously. Fate Of Pregnant Prisoners INMATES having babies in prison is a global phenomenon defying solutions. Authorities of Port Harcourt Prisons are denying warders were responsible for the pregnancies. In the United States, where some prison officials have been convicted for their roles in sexual abuse of prisoners, more than 25 per cent of inmates get pregnant while serving their term. Arguments of an official of Port Harcourt Prisons, that in all cases the women arrived pregnant, are unattainable. They are too dumbfounding that they leave no room for important prison reforms. What can be done about pregnant prisoners? How can general prison conditions be improved? Do we ever worry that children born in prison without adequate care could become criminals? More concern in other places centre on better treatment for children born in prison. There are no easy solutions. Even in USA where six States - California, Connecticut, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York and Washington – permit “conjugal visits” to aid family bonding, the visits have partly been blamed for the pregnancies, there are no firm plans for the children. Do we punish children too for their mothers’ offences? File photo: The Kaduna Central Prison in the early hours of Tuesday. Current conditions in Nigerian prisons are deplorable. The food is poor; the quantity is not enough for healthy living, worse for pregnant inmates. The hygiene levels are abysmally low. It is almost unthinkable that children are born in these settings. Prisoners, most of them poor, cater for the children until relations take them, or they are put up for adoption. What is their future? With the generally unacceptable conditions in which Nigerians live, it is easier to ignore prisoners and their plight. They are part of society. If the laws were a little more stringent, more Nigerians, the mighty moreso, could be in jail. The point is validly made that prisoners – some of who are awaiting trial for years, and who may eventually be released for lack of evidence to prosecute them – have rights. The fact that nobody cares about their rights do not mean they do not exist. The USA for years lived in denial of the abuses in its prisons. Women were shackled while giving birth, more than 1.5 million children were born in jail over 25 years, sexual abuses were nobody’s concern until some years back when the reforms began. Prison officers are being jailed for abuses; some prisons are building nurseries for the children. We cannot address abuses in prisons without admitting them. There would be no seriousness without punishing offending officials and setting new standards for conduct. Fears of the truth would delay the reforms that fate of pregnant prisoners deserves. We have a major prison challenge in our hands, we cannot pretend otherwise. |
I don't think financial restraint is enough reason but I think is lack of conscience. |
The frequent abandoning of new born babies or killing them in Nigeria is now alarming. some will dump their own in the bush or gutter while some will even kill their. Is it the rate of immorality or lack of conscience? |
I saw two ladies the other day almost naked all in the name of bomb shorts fashion. I was asking myself this question. Where is all this madness all in the name of fashion leading us?j |
In one sentence the Bible contains the Mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers. |
I have been dating this guy for four years now. Almost all my friends including my sisters know him. I ll be sincere that he has supported me in so many ways, and i have also helped him in some ways too. I believe we both love each other so we were just waiting and believing that what we feel for each other will surely come to pass. His family too know about our relationship. To cut the whole story short, three months ago, i noticed there's this particular girl that he always chat with; sometimes the girl will even call him if she doesn't see him online. when i asked him who the girl was, he lied and said she was a classmate in school. Little did i know that he has started seeing the girl and still claiming he loves me. I heard a dream concerning it which i tell him; knowing its the truth he denied it. One day, i threaten to quit the relatioship since he is no longer sincere to himself, he started telling me that he only have a liitle challenge which he wants to settle all by himself without involving me but i insisted to know the problem that was when i got the news that is making me to loose my mind that the girl is pregnant for him. He is telling me now that he cannot settle with the girl,i should forgive him and that the girl has agreed to abort the baby. i dont even know what to believe again. His friend called me few days ago telling me the same thing and pleading with me to forgive. i cant just get it off my head. Guys in the house pls what do suggest i do? |

Two days to go in the youwin entrepreneurship competition, the date for the announcement of winners that was initially published was removed from the website and there was no information given. Is government really serious about this youwin program or are they just playing with our youths? |
