afembaba:Hi, YES YOU CAN. But the truth is that there is no guarantee. But you stand a chance. It's a competitive market cos it's flooded with indians and filipinos but if you are good at what you do you defintely stand a chance. About salary, it also depends on your bargaining power. As long as you present your self as a professional without being intimidated you can definitely bargain for a good pay. I even feel 5k is pretty small considering the cost of living and housing. Note that it's not Nigeria so don't just rely on exchange rate in Naira. Housing is damn expensive. Anyone that promises you a job before getting there is a SCAMMER. Always note, no serious employer will employ you without a physical interview. Thanks |
Hello Guys, I've got a building project ongoing at the moment in Enugu State around Emene. It's a block of floor 4 flats with 3 bedrooms all en-suite on one plot of land. It is just a single story building. Please I will appreciate your ideas with where I can source good building materials at a reasonable price. I mean every single thing..sand, aggregate, rebars, cement etc. We are currently almost at Lintel level but I am not statisfied with the Engineer handling the project because I feel they are not being straight forward with the cost. I have spent over 5 Million naira already and yet they are not passed lintel level Please I will appreciate as much advice as i can get as I am not presently resident there or on ground to monitor the project. Thanks |
