Most of you prefer the sharing economy. Transitoning to a production economy is going to take time, and it means things like letting the power sector run without subsides, which most LP, APC, and PDP supporters do not like, and will protest on the streets, actually fighting corruption, which most of you like when it is the other guy, not yours, and suffering.

Most of us prefer imports, and the globalised economy has made matters worse.


Anyway, I believe most Nigerians prefer option 2., Obidients included.

I have talked a lot about Nigeria choosing option one, and I have gotten a lot of abuse and insults...so I know what I am saying. People don't like their comfort zone being challenged.

Nigerians can prefer anything. The issue is the person giving it. For instance, if it was an Igbo or South South President causing this economic hardship now, the nation would be burning in crises and protest. GEJ didn't do half of this and they didn't allow him rest till he lost his reelection. If a Northern President decides to do this your idea, no matter the hardship it causes, he will have support of the special ppl in the country. Nigerians don't have problems with the ideas and policies but with the person bringing them.

If they had killed them, the babies of Nigeria will cry that they have killed their brothers who went to hunt. Then Enugu state governor will sack and arrest the Council boss and his team while offering millions as compensation to one of the special states who would claim the hunters.

Nigeria is suffering because at independence we had two choices

1.We could use our resources to make stuff we and the world needed

2.We could be selling our resources and sharing the money

We choose 2, and that is why we are suffering.

God does not like lazy people. God likes people who take what he has given them and dobules the value.

Our country is rich in natural resources. Instead of using those resources to make radios, televisions, cars, etc etc...we sold them, and shared the money, and use am import.

Meanwhile sensible countries were using those resources to make goods of higher value than the resources, and they were selling them back to us, and we used the money we had to buy them and when we ran out, we took loans


And that is why we are where we are.

God gives us good things so that we can use them to make better things. We just wan share money.

So are you saying that since independence we couldn't have a single human as president that would consider the first option or is it too late? This thing you said now is exactly what Peter Obi campaigned with but he was muscled out by the present consumerism govt.

The number of ppl killed this year by bandits and herdsmen in southern and middle belt states is becoming alarming. And there is no outcry or visiting of governors. I have observed that in this country, there is only a particular tribe that's permitted to kill and not be killed.

I heard of at least two convicts, 1 was sentenced to death and another was for fraud, that were seen in living their lives in foreign countries. On record, these ppl are in prison. See, there is nothing that can't be manipulated in Nigeria. Nothing wey dem no fit run for you.
