The halls of residence are very much okay now.
Maybe there should build more hostels to accommodate more students.
I think is a nice approach to start thinking about the future transportation of things by building a befitting and well structured Aero program.

Google has policies and they are very strict about them.
Some of the policies are that your website must be active for a period of time, you must have not less than a number of visitors and they must have not less than 50 articles on the website and many more.
Unless you get to that bridge and meet those criterias, Google will not consider you for adsense.

Advice for the teenagers, getting a job in Nigeria isn't easy, so don't let anyone deceive you with some bullshit talk like "" it doesn't matter what you study, as long as you are a graduate"". i am going to give it to you straight, study any of these courses to improve your chances of getting a job:

1). All engineering apart from Civil and Agric Engn.

2). Bus Admin and Economics

3). Medicine, nursing and pharmacy. Don't study law.

4). Computer science.

But finally, God above everything, if God says you will be successful in life, nothing can stop you, no matter the course you study. What I wrote up there is just my logical opinion. No offense to anyone.

Civil should not be here, not a good advice for someone looking for better job prospects in Nigeria.
Will suggest:Elect/Elect,Civil and Comp sci and Engineering.
Avoid Agric, Metallurgical andMechanical in Nigeria if considering larger jobs prospect.
If you must choose Mech,make sure you come out with a strong grade.

No they don't, maybe in Dubai or in the western world, but definitely not in Nigeria, they just hire them to do small small contracts once in a while and when contract nor de, you go starve. Except your family is well connected, then, you can secure huge government contract and make it big.

You should be an undergraduate or a newbie in Engineering.
Civil Engineering has one of the best prospect in Engineering, considering the larger scope.structural engineering (buildinds design and construction) Environmental and water, e.tc
You can start a consulting a firm as a design engineer on your own or go into sub contracting as a fresh graduate.Far better than the likes of mechanical, Chemical e.t.c except Elect/Elect in Nigeria.

Like I said I'm not ruling out the fact that students may be admitted backdoor,do read my post again.OP came up with a stat of 10% merit which I'm not comfortable with.
2000-2006 I actually don't Know how transparent the admission process was then but
with the power of internet in this younger generation many can easily see the cutoff points and at same time relate the number of people who merit it or not.
I know of an older brother far north who did score 240+(early 2000) opted for medicine, although he seems to be a State hero and believe he wasn't admitted in Ife based on irregularities in the system.
That same score you will agree with me is not competitive enough and people hardly have access to cutoff Mark then as it is now, The summary is there may be other candidates who scored higher than him and based on merit quota of the University he never merit it.

@op your generalisation of those who passed the cutoff not up to 10 is baseless especially relating schools like OAU, Unilag to your discussion.
Schools especially OAU,UI and Unilag are very competitive and as such higher cut off marks are expected of them.
Check Unilag post Utme results, the highest score was 28/30(93%) and with over 200 students scoring above 80% (these group of students chose the so called competitive courses especially medicine) what do you expect to be the cutoff? 80% may look so high but these students are smart these days and same time smashing the exams from WAEC to JAMB to Utme screening.
I can only talk of Ife(OAU) right now, Saying 10% as those admitted based on merit is nonsensical and baseless,cause I know about 20+ admitted based on merit during my time.
I don't know the school you are attending but having good number of students in your courseof study who cannot express a simple chemical compound calls for this question, which school do you attend?
Finally I don't know about modus operandi of other schools and so I can't generalise , I think back door admission is mostly common in state owned schools(I may be wrong) and call for NUC to step up to investigate all schools.
