its really pathetic how leaders play with destiny and frustrate some young ambitious youths. fact is not everybody is built to be self employed... just like not everyone is meant to work in the private sector. we are the selected few who should work in govt and redefine her process of doing things in years to come. #keephopealive. |
i think the signing of the budget is a major factor. since the D.G as defended the allocation for training. lets pray they sign the budget sooner than expected. |
how true is this...because the wait is really taking too long. |
Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria -FAAN/Corp.Comm. FAAN TO COMMENCE TRAINING OF AVIATION FIREMEN SECURITY PERSONNEL. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria is set to commence intensive training of its Aviation Security, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel. The Managing Director of FAAN, Eng Saleh Dunoma stated this over the weekend during an inspection of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. He said the strategy is geared towards promoting safety, security and airport excellence based on International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) annex 14 Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) and Airport Council International (ACI) Best Practices. According Eng Dunoma, "the first batch of one hundred personnel drawn from the Aviation Security, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel are being shortlisted for the first batch, after which the other six hundred personnel will follow suit". He said the capacity building will strengthen FAAN's capacity at mitigating safety vulnerabilities identified by the evaluation observed by the regulators, the NCAA. Buhari in an interview On BBC hausa. Appointing ministers tough The President who reassured that his cabinet would be in place before the end of the month, however, disclosed that he is finding the process difficult to finish because of the massive rot in the polity. “The process is difficult to finish. So, we would continue the screening to come up with people that deserve to hold the positions. This is because, what I see daily in terms of the damage inflicted on Nigeria in the last 10 years is enormous. Only God knows its magnitude,” he said. Asked if there were names that he earlier lined up for appointments that he later discovered their complicity and then changed his mind, Buhari said: ‘’There are people that deserve to hold the position because of their knowledge in either financial issues or oil sector or even in governance. But you discover that in one way or the other, and whether they knew it or not, they were dragged to such unwholesome practices. Bringing such people will be tantamount to leaving your doors open when you have gone to rest in your apartment. Putting such people in either financial, petrol or works ministry would be dangerous because behind the scene, some people control a person. They would be dictating to them with a threat to award them contracts. Based on this where do we stand? |
Please be careful how proactive you get... What will be will be... If it will be it will be. My advise is look for jobs those that don't have one, save, write pro certifications. You'll least xpect when it will workout you will least xpect it |

Good mornning good people. Its really saddening, one can't even plan well or take next action because of FAAN. |
The way things are going I really do not understand. I feel the delay is based on appointment of Ministers, let's hope and pray. We may have to wait a lil longer than expected since oga presido has decided to appoint Ministers by September. For the calls I wasn't called too. But will really love to confirm if those were call are asfolows: 1. On the first list 2.On the second list 3. From the North and Middle belt. Because I heard there was some mixup in state of origin of some candidate and random confirmation if those shortlisted are the actual people. |
