Gwagwalada Boys Beat An Okada Man Black And Blue After Refusing To Give Them Change At around 12pm on saturday 7th may 2016, an incident occurred in gwagwalada at the front of a popular saloon “Adex”, close to uniabuja campus, between an okada man, and two gwagwalada boys, alleged to be uniabuja male students. See The Sorry State Of Uniabuja Hostel (Here) The Poor State Of UNIABUJA Hostels – The poor, decrepit state of the hostels of the University of Abuja have recently been revealed in a new report from 9jaflaver. The report, showed the sorry state of toilets and bathrooms in the university’s male hostel. Quote A 400 Level student, who did not want his name disclosed said that it is better to defecate in the bushes than using the toilets in the hostel. According to him, the toilets are always messed up, with tissues and some other harder papers are sometimes discarded inside the toilets. The source attributed the unhealthy environment to lack of adequate water needed to wash and flush the toilets. However, most of the blame allegedly lies on the students, with many of them untrained in the proper use and maintenance of toilets. Quote One of the students who spoke with our reporter affirmed that most students do not maintain proper hygiene, saying they use the toilets without bothering to flush. Others who refused to mention their names said when the condition of the toilets deteriorate they result to other means. All efforts to speak with the head of students affairs proved abortive. Quote A lecturer who spoke on condition of anonymity attributed the ugly conditions of the toilet facilities in universities of Abuja to improper usage by the students, adding that most of the students defecate like uncivilized people. Barrister Kole Ajayi Slams Ekiti State Gov Ayo Fayose While Back President GMB On UK Tv Ekiti state gubernatorial candidate Barrister Kole Ajayi who is currently on an international tour meeting Europe based Ekiti state indegenes appeared on television station Vox Africa UK during their nightly news . During his Live interview Kole Ajayi who has declared his candidacy for the states highest seat spoke candidly about his thoughts on the current administration under Dr Ayo Fayose , the Nigerian economy , President GMB's leadership and his plans for reviving Ekiti state to its rightful place in Nigeria. Speaking about Dr Ayo Fayose (the current Ekiti state Governor ), Barrister Kole Ajayi slammed the governor for sanctioning projects which had no immediate positive effects on the lives of the citizens of the state as well as failing to utilise the current natural resources and Agricultural prowess of the state to create wealth for its citizens. Barrister Kole Ajayi vowed to focuse on wealth creation if made governor and utilise the states abundance in natural resources to jump start the economy.
