Dude stop being naive and ignorant, you don't have to write an aptitude test before getting a job in Nigeria. There are a lot of cases where people submit their CV to companies and they are called directly for an interview. I was once called for an interview by an oil company in Port-Harcourt just few days after submitting my CV - I didn't get the job though.

tot ur d guy witches are hunting from his villa. stop being forceful and tendin towards insult. no body day share money here for supposedly winning an argument. na just talk make I talk o

If you've followed the discussions in this thread thus far, you'll realize that I've referred to appropriate scenarios where the CGPA would definitely "count for something". I'm really surprised at the number of folks that think that people just work towards a perfect GPA for the sake of it. undecided
truth is it does not count at all. there must be an aptitude test

The CGPA aspect is real o. And besides, I was surprised last week after I downloaded a sample CV from the internet and I found out that the person's CGPA was on it. Who says someone with a high CGPA is not going to be efficient and productive? Infact, that high CGPA goes a long way to show how determined and productive you could be although it may not be enough to conclude. But at least, it gives you the edge over others as a fresh graduate.
the cgpa might count for notin. any reputable firm issues a highly competitive aptitude test for graduate employment. ur score in d test is definitely ur cgpa to them. who cares what ur trashy school gives u. so just pass the test first. make I no read about this issue again for here o. everyone is now a c.v expert.

the osu tin is a dent on the ibo culture. takes only a real man to jettison it. if ur friends husband to be won't marry her then she is better for it. he probably is stil a boy. abi na the family day pay for the marriage

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pwc/shl TESTS-4 Techniques Used By Top Scorers On Aptitude Tests (PREP MATERIAL) by Ukeachu1(m): 5:04pm On Jan 29, 2015
achmed1:
Have you ever wondered how some graduates manage to get top scores on aptitude tests? They must be extremely intelligent and talented people, right? Well, not exactly. Studies have shown that some otherwise extremely ‘brainy’ people could get very low scores on aptitude tests due to a lack of speed, focus or confidence. The reason is two-fold. First, different categories of aptitude tests are designed to test different innate abilities (called aptitudes) such as numerical reasoning, abstract thinking and verbal reasoning. Some who do very well on numerical tests may easily fail the verbal test. In fact, extremely talented people tend to be one-sided so while they may get 100% on one type of aptitude test, they will likely get a very low score or even fail another one.

Second, the aptitude tests that employers (or recruiters) use assess at least two of your innate abilities – and you must meet their benchmarks on both tests. These abilities almost always contradict each other. For example, numerical reasoning ability is quite different from verbal reasoning ability. This implies that the recruiters are not looking for Einsteins (by the way Einstein was far behind his peers in his verbal ability as a child) but just average people who can perform well on the job. Besides, it is quite unusual for a first-time test taker to get top scores on BOTH. Unless … well, unless you know the tricks AND you are not a freakin’ genius because if you were, it would be harder for you to follow these tricks and you would not need the bloody job anyway.

Let the probability of student with both football boots and footballs be x
Then: (3/4 - x) + (7/8 - x) + x = 1
Then x=5/8
Therefore the of students with both football boots and footballs = 5/8 * 24
=15
ok. dats tru. but I doubt d kid has been tot sets already. ur correct sha. u bad.

Mathematical:
Friend, the question has a flaw,bn tryna solve it buh i keep stumbling off if 8 students: 7 own boots, 6 own balls. (at least 5 haveboth, maximum of 6)
16 students: 14 have boots, 12 havr balls. (at least 10 have both, maximum of 12)
24 students: 21 have boots, 18 own balls. (at least 15 own both, maximum of 18),which is wrong.. pls op solve it oo
I agree wit him. cnn80 has a detailed explanation too.
EducationRe: Can Someone Please Solve This Mathematical Problem by Ukeachu1(m): 12:55pm On Jan 29, 2015
CNN80:
No of students < 30

Exactly 3/4 of them own footballs, therefore no of students is a multiple of 4 i. e 4,8,12,16,20,24,28
Exactly 7/8 of them own football boots therefore no of students is a multiple of 8 i. e 8,16,24.

If no of students = 8, 6 own balls and 7 own boots. This means that one person doesn't have boots. The 6 that own balls can be made up of all the people that have boots or 5 that own boots and 1 that doesn't. Meaning at least 5 students own both.

Using the same logic

If no of students = 16, 12 own balls and 14 own boots meaning at least 10 own both.

If no of students = 24, 18 own balls and 21 own boots meaning at least 15 own both.

I think there might be a part missing from the question.
