The present crops of religious leaders are displaying, breeding and encouraging extremism.

This past electioneering season really exposed the deficiency, the decay; most especially extremism and hatred that have found it way into the church.

It has always been there over the years, it became very glaring in the past few months. CAN and PFN as a christian body now surrender themselves to be use as political tools to antagonise perceived political oppositions of other religion.

Pastors, GOs and other 'god of men' have now abandoned the preaching of the gospel to openly preach hate and enmity on the altar of the church against other religions, political actors and even against the country. The scary part is that, it is not even hidden anymore; like in the corner of their offices but openly on the altar, on live TV and anywhere they find themselves.

Washington once wrote: "Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by a difference of sentiments in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought most to be deprecated…"

Orji Uzor Kalu is closer to the PDP and LP than Akpabio. All he needs to win is to get the votes of 80% of the opposition senators.
Hence if the senators from PDP and LP decide to spit on Tinubu, it is game over for Akpabio.

I was in Uyo 2weeks ago..u will shed tears for them.

Massive unemployment.the youths sit to play draft on a working day.the girls have slept in all the hotels.
I even went to Tropicana and for the first time in my life,I was sweating in the cinema whilst watching John wick 4.(and we were only Abt 15 persons watching).they cannot even afford the 3k to watch it.
they even took light three times and the movie had to be start afresh on one ocassion.inside the mall,the acs are not cooling.a terrible experience.
The politicians are the richest in the state..u know what that means.
infact they give NEPA light one hour three times a day.1 hr by morn,1 hr by evening and 1 hr by 2am.
