henrimoto: ultimatee... good evening. how was your day ? do not get annoyed. are you an introvert? or you na ajeboo...? haaa! it doesnt take much to mingle with people around you, weather known or unknown face.. it usualy begin with greetings and conversations. sorry, where is your location ? lagos or outside lagos ?@ henri I stay in Lasgidi of course but just trying to get all facts and info straight from the horses mouth because they told me that Deira is known for its notoriety and criminal acts perpetrated by the illegals aka TECO guys. |
ogakpatakpata: @Ultimatee....................l will volunteer to give you some help, give me a call 3 days before your arrival and let me see how l can be of help to you in terms of your accommodation and cheap hotels, l will speak to my contacts as soon as l know when you will arrive and you will be fine, my cell number is on my signature profile............goodluck. |
ogakpatakpata: @ultimatee..............................Yes, deira is full of funny characters, but, as long as you don't mingle with them, you have nothing to fear, is not really necessary to have anybody before coming, it is not a big deal, once you arrive dubai and you check into your hotel, you can start your networking from there, nobody will deliberately harass you unnecessarily in deira, there are police patrols everywhere, so dont be scared. The UAE is very safe and police officers don't tolerate any form of intimidationsSince I no nobody in Dubai to network won't be easy I think in the area job and accommodation search, or is it dat one would walk up to guys and make friends with them and start seeking their assistance in those areas of need. Or from yur own experience how is it done. To locate guys dat can help in terms of job info etc. Oga am short of words to describe you honestly. But your reward will start from earth stay blessed. |
@ Ogapatapata nd Justi is it true dat Deira is dangerous place for a first timer to stay. Someone told me dat the illegal guys there aka TECO guys ar so dangerous and everywhere looking for people to steal or fraud. Especially passport, lugagges etc. Is it true as I intend staying in Deira since I know no one in Dubai, or is it a big deal to have a contact there b4 coming down. So what do yu suggest. |
ogakpatakpata: Both of you are correct; some employers will ask you to exit to your home country and they will eventually send it to you (honourable Valentony) a member of this forum is a testimony here ,but, l don't really like that idea because some of them don't keep to their word, so it is better you collect your employment visa , exit and re-enter with it to the UAE......................Goodluck.@ Ogapatapata thanks for the clarification and God bless you for your untiring spirit. I want to know how much does it cost to exit to UAE neighbouring countries like Oman, Bahrain etc and can one exit by road and return that same day. |
@ Ogapatapata the one and only Igweee One of my friends in UAE said its after exiting that employer sends employment visa to would be employee but I totally disagree with him going by all what I have read on this forum that it is advisable to collect the employment visa before exiting due to dubious and dishonesty among some employers, not sending the work visa to the person involve. I want to know if am right or wrong with this assertion. Over to Igweeee. |
ogakpatakpata: You are welcome; you should be fine with all l have said, don't forget as you prepare your trip to rely more on the"" GOD FACTOR "' if you do believe in "" HIM "" or anchor your faith on/in whatever you believe in.................enjoy your holiday and remember to pray for Nigeria............Thank you very much Oga At least you have really tried supplying me With all wat I need to know about the Trip God bless you bros. |
@ Ogapatapata. You are too much and I really Appreciate yur contribution and advise. But we were only given a computer print out. I thing its ok for me to come with and get job with it. Cheers. |
Good morning Igwe, and all palace chiefs, queen and princess. I want to know if its compulsory to get certificate attest and if certificate is not ready how about computer print out of school results is it acceptable by employers in UAE. Ogapatapata am waiting for your contribution. |
Can it go for 450K serious buyer. |
Dos employers prefer the uae experience to the experience a new employee is coming with Like someone having 8yrs Marketing experience in Nigeria and gets to UAE to realise that employers start demanding for 2 or 3yrs Gulf experience any chance for such person. |
Ogapatapata, Hmmm, that's serious oo but how many people get work in their area of specialisation as soon as they arrive Dubai because if one get employed in another field how would the Job experience count or does it mean one would have to tailore the CV to suit the employers purpose' |
@ Justi and Ogapatapata, I own a car and drive perfectly in 9ja at the momet. So aint a JJC on wheels but come toThink of it 40 driving lessons to be passed b4 one is qualified for the driver's license @ the rate of 5000dh. I think its glossly expensive. I just realise that most of their sales job require candidate with driving license. |
Justi and Oga thanks a lot for always helping us here. That's why I don't won't to rush coming down to Dubai. I will try to jack up my budget to $2000 @ justi marketing and Sales are like twins brothers no much diff.you know. But as a neewbie in Dubia without experience and driving license which are the instrument mostly needed for doing the job, would it be easy to get such job as am ready to pay dose Indians dat employ people. |
Ogapatapata, Pls will $1500 be ok for me. Before I secure Job etc. Atleast from experience you should have knowledge in dat regard. Thanks bros |
