@Ogbeche77, there is noting of such on the visa just the normal b1b2 visa. He just wants clarification so that when he eventually travel he won't be embarrassed or disturbed at the point of entry.

my brother collected his US visa some months ago and its a conference visa and now the conference has taken place in the US since but due to his tight schedule at work he couldn't attend the conference. Now he intends travelling with the visa to US he thought since its b1b2 visa don't know if there wouldn't be any problem at the point of entry.

please all I need help here I was trying to change my appointment date and day. To an early date but something keeps popping up like warning, that I would be exceeding my cancellation limit and I would need to pay another visa fee to book another appointment, of which I haven't made any cancelation at all. so I want to know if it won't have any effect if I cancel the appointment and rebook a new one.

justi4jesu: After you have signed your offer letter you would be asked to go for your medicals which includes HIV,Hepatitis B,X-RAY,Tuberculosis etc

So if you are quick in submitting your medical reports to the company, then you would equally get your employment visa in time minimum of 1week or thereabout.

Yes and No, like honourable valen2ony, l recalled he exited and the employment visa was sent to him in Nigeria, some companies will keep their word while some others will not, but , in my honest and personal opinion it is better you exit with your employment visa, if you recall what honourable optimisticgondy's said concerning his 3siblings, they exited to Kish and re-enter back again within 1hr to the UAE, that means they must have exited with their tourist/visit visa and re-entered with their employment visa, which to me personally is the best and ideal. Hope you get my drift

Honestly it depends on the employer & organisation, some organisation seems to have a quick way to get around it,but, some others it takes them weeks, some employers can secure your employment visa within 7 days, some might be 10,15,21 or even more than 1 month. There are several factors that determines how fast an employer secures your employment visa and it will be hard for me to tell you all the reasons,but, for my organisation, we get the employment visa within 7days, l don't know whether because it is owned by an European makes it faster and easier for us.

Alrite Igwee so the motto is never exit without your offer letter and employment visa.

Like how long does it take employer to secure or to provide employment visa for his employee after signing the contract paper and accepting the offer letter.

@ Igwee, Just4jesus and all other honourables I don't really understand Etihad nowadays seems they are finding it difficult to issue people with the one month extendable visa nowadays. One of my friends that did is visa with etihad was issued a 1month none extendable visa and he was assured by etihad that the visa was the extendable visa.it was when he got a teaching job of 4500dms and his visa only had 3 days left to Kallas. The authority of that school that employed him were eager to help him extend the visa but they were told that the 1month visa issued to him could not be extended. So the school now decided not to give him an offer letter as they want him to work for some weeks so as to further examine his teaching ability and prowness. He had to exit to Nigeria without achieving his aim in UAE. So it seems Etihad is no more sincere with the 1month extendable visa issuance again.
