Good morning guys,
Please I need ur advice urgently, a friend of mine made a mistake while filling his DS-160 form. His intended date was suppose to be change to 3-05-2018 but he left it at the earlier date he picked which is 30-04-2018. Though is appointment is on 25-04-2018.

Please is there anything he can do to this and does this affect his chance

Ur advice is urgently needed. Thank you

I paid for mine at #57k ($160 x #360 not #400 = #57k) at a GTBANK in ibadan. U may check the online payment option. It has been changed to #57k. Sorry for that bro

Walspring:

I just paid on behalf of someone now and it’s still showing 64k and charged 64k. If you lodge complain they say system haven’t been update and the small balance they won’t refund to you.

Hello guys,
Any update from Egypt and India embassy Abuja? For those people going to Estonia and other countries?
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by Umuks(m): 9:59pm On Jul 21, 2017
s3nn2x:
Quick Question:

So I was informed by the school that they contacted their Embassy in Cairo and that I will get a visa after 48hours and that I will need to go through Egypt Route and from there go straight to Estonia.

My problem now is the Egyptian Embassy in Abuja, my problem is basic, how much is supposed to be in my account? I don't even have any money right now sef. Secondly, I was told to present travel itinerary, am I to book for my ticket and pay before visa application? How is that going to happen? Also, they asked for hotel bookings...

Thanks.

Guy, I pray the Egyptian embassy answer you ooo.

For real, I wonder why some people can't do their background finds before such accusation. Anyway, I have some little dealings with Femi Folorunsho which till now, he has never ask for a kobo and even promise to assist with likely solutions to some of our visa problem(s).
@femi, please don't because of this go off Nairaland. your advice has always been appreciated here and don't forget some of us that are still looking for a way out with this visa issue.

This is the mail I received from the VFS Global.

Thank you for writing to us at info.beng@vfshelpline.com

Kindly be informed that the Belgium Embassy represents Estonia for short term visa application only, so you can apply for a short term visit visa to Estonia through the Belgium Embassy at the Belgium visa application center VFS Global in  Lagos or Abuja. On getting to Estonia you can then apply for your study permit.

Please see the attached for the required documents, same as outlined for a Tourist visa for  Belgium.

Follow this link https://visaonweb.diplomatie.be/ to fill the online visa application form.

Please read this information below for the form

Please, this question is applicable to me too. I am applying also through this Belgium embassy. I think Belgium embassy represent Estonia in Nigeria and instead of going to Brussels, can't I apply to Estonia straight as a tourist?

Guys i went to the India High commission in Ghana. Its possible to apply from the India Embassy in Ghana but the secretary to the consular says, the probability of getting the visa is very low unless u prove beyond reasonable uncertainties otherwise its better to apply from Nigeria.

Note: To those who want to apply from Ghana in the future, you will need a residence permit (student, spouse or dependent permit) this will enable you to apply for your india visa (issued within 3 days, no interview, visa fee is about $50 ) or egypt visa (issued with 15days to 30days, no interview) in Ghana.

how can I get the residence permit? I stay in Nigeria and I wouldn't mind to try from Ghana then

@femiratess, please which insurance did you us.... I will like to know and possibly use that too. I mean the one you use that is 99euro or that your friend of 103euro.

femiratess:

applying through a friend or agent can be frustrating like some people rightly said. For me, its all about the person and what trust you have. i applied through a friend/agent and i paid money but i have no regrets. The person actually supervised the whole process for me and a friend and we both got our D-visa and applied for TRP as early as May 15. Infact i have gotten mail from the police and border guard as regards my TRP. I will list advantages and disadvantages below

advantages
1. what you dont know, you dont know.
2. information is power
3. There is nothing like having someone who has gone tru a step putting you tru. Here in nairaland, noone owes you any info and most info are facevalue not indepth. e.g my insurance cost is 99euros made in estonia and am seeing 197 by so many comments.
4. the process is quite simple but tactical. you need experience a bit.

disadvantages
1. you may sometimes be frustrated keeping up to date with your application.
2. trust and honesty factor of the person involved
3. money involved
All in all its all about trust and the integrity of the person helping you out. little silly error can cause you delays and this will surely affect your timing all to the point of visa application. my testimony is quite simple. i used a friend/agent and my TRP is surely ready before arrival.
Many might have counter testimony but my word remains "what you dont know, you dont know"

list of issues this person solved includes

1. my bsc result had a name differences with my passport
2. my other guy works in dubai and he increased his passport age before leaving nigeria, so he had different birth dates on result and international passport. the agent corrected this and his docs was accepted.
3. he applied for business management(degree) and was rejected. the friend helped and he was allowed to choose environmental specialist without having to go tru ENIC NARIC allover. and he has his visa as well. we both went to india. few people here who speak to me privately can bear witness to all my stories.

lastly nobody is ready to be giving you time, chatting and updating you when they dont stand anything to gain from the process.

END OF NOTE: if you trust the person, spare that little bucks for your own convenience.

Please am not offering assistance to anyone privately, am only sharing my experience.
