Cry me a river! If you filed an appeal on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, and the respondent filed a response (counter affidavit) on Friday, October 21, 2022, you should be ready to proceed on Monday based on the exigency and nature of the case if you're an attorney that knows what the heck you're doing. At the very least by now, both parties MUST be very familiar with the case and all the cases cited in support of their own argument. But apparently, the prosecution thought that their delay tactics would work in all instances. Hear him lament that he, "was served with a counter affidavit by Kanu’s lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, last week Friday." I have some advice for you Mr. prosecutor, if you can NOT handle the heat, you're better off staying away from the kitchen! To moan and groan like you're doing goes to show and validate the notion that you're all half-baked, sharia law trained quota system lawyers! This Fulani Government of Nigeria (FGN) is really a JOKE. In my decades of practicing law as an attorney, I have NEVER heard of or seen where evidence of a criminal act was destroyed even before the investigation was completed. But this is what you get in a hopelessly failed country like Nigeria. Why would the government destroy the ship that was seized if NOT to hide evidence and impede the investigation and possible prosecution? Any of you that believe and trust this government, does so at his or her own peril. Break up NIGERIA now to save lives otherwise, Nigeria would happen to you! |
