In my decades of practicing law as an attorney, I have NEVER heard of or seen where evidence of a criminal act was destroyed even before the investigation was completed. But this is what you get in a hopelessly failed country like Nigeria. Why would the government destroy the ship that was seized if NOT to hide evidence and impede the investigation and possible prosecution?
