My brother, e dey pepper my body. Do you know that the phone is alot faster after the 2nd update, well optimized now. I can play PES 20 mobile in HD setting with no single lag, I mean on Helio P23 & some people were saying Helio P23 go dey hang Chrome. Go no go forgive that boy

Go-to About A7Pro on your setting, you will see Wireless update. Click to check. There is two available updates. You will be asked to download & install, 69mb. After successfully installing the first one, go back to check for 2nd update, it's 120mb, follow the same procedure.

The latest update works pretty fine. I've not experienced any of those bugs again. I've also noticed slight upgrade on the battery life. Indeed I've been Umipampered

This phone too sweet jor. See speed. The device even comes with "copy text from image" feature. Yesterday I was messing around with the Google assistant, Google even told me a joke, imagine

Please those that did the second update (on A7PRO) did it fix the portrait mode issue (camera)? I installed the first update last night but nothing changed (on the portrait mode). I just received the second update notification now, it covered most of the bugs (black screen while on call and/after call issue, status bar slide down glitches etc.) except portrait mode glitches.

Please share your experience. Thanks

I've gotten rid of mine with that instruction, but all I did was to select "Unmetered" in the WiFi hotspot I connected to. Once you connect to a WiFi, during the set up, scroll down a little, check the options, you will see where u will select unmetered. That's all I did & I completed the Android set up.

just received my a7 pro from jumia. Its a sleek phone with stunning design. The phone's cool except for the camera bug that is nt allowing me to take portrait pictures. The slow motion is nt to be used...too much noise. Yet to check d oda specs bt d camera looks very okay, umi has improved a lot over d a5 pro. A7 pro users, How do i solve d portrait mode issue?

We are in this together.. it's actually global cuz I read people's comments on their Twitter handle via the same matter. I'm scared of updating but I think I will now cuz I observed another bug that occasionally freeze the drop down setting (where u on data) & prevent it from dropping.

Remove the space in the above link to setup any wifi you connect to as unmetered wifi and use it to set it up. It'll be gone forever.

Have u tried musicolet? That's what I use and works great for me especially if u adjust the equaliser settings.

There's also pi player and of course Google music, try any and all of these and see what works for u.

Have u checked the file extension name? Does it 3nd with .MP3? Also try downloading VLC media player, it has a funny way of installing codec files to read different media formats, so try it and give us feedback.

It's showing on VLC alone. But we all know VLC is not a music app. So much limitations. Thanks anyway

it's happening on my F2 too... all the music i copied on the internal storage re not showing on my music player no matter how many times i refresh..but it's showing on File manager and plays through file manager...

Fixed it boss, formatted the card and used it as an external storage, currently moving all the files to the card...

But boss i never find solution to this thing ooo connected to about 3 hotspots now but still persist.

before nko. I can see the music file on fileman, played couple of it, but can't find it in the device music app, even the one I installed (jet audio). I can only view gospel messages (audio too). It's strange, maybe u can recommend a app.

Gents, I can't view my music files I transferred to my A7pro from my old device. I mean music files worth 3GB (arranged in separate folders) except messages (gospel audio). Any solution?

PS. I'm enjoying this device. Everything has been cool. I love the camera especially. So dope. Game performance is awesome. PES is running decently, so smooth. Tho I also have this App Update "Connect to WiFi notification sitting on top (I've not tried to connect to any WiFi sha) but I'm not bothered, will also love to know the solution (if it's not the WiFi shit).. Will also like to know if any A7Pro user has done the wireless update, want to know the experience. Thanks.

I still can't put the charger in well up till now, I don't want to force it so the charging port doesn't get spoilt, it came charged up to 92%, the battery has been fair so far. I charged it full by 4PM and I've been surfing the net all through till now the battery is at 34%. I haven't done any update yet.

Ok.. just try to reposition the mouth. Initially it was hard for me, I made sure it was the right way, then I pushed it in (a little harder) then it went in. U can try that too, but be becareful.

The equalizer, it brings out deep bass & smart sound (especially when u have a good earpiece). Several equalizer options.

Camera na A1 oo... The stock camera really look good & smart. Wide range abi na angle make sense, although the capture button on wide range is messing up at times, but I'm yet to update. I already have pending updates (isn't that lovely, phone wey I just grab today). Speed of the phone is dope. I'm loving it.

I got this experience too. Plus Ultra Wide angle not reay responding when u tap on capture unless u hold it for a second but it will multicapture. I guess it will be fixed with recent updates. I already have one update awaiting me.

A lil bit of correction there are actually 2 variants one being X5(Chinese version) which had limited 4G bands, cheaper and had no earpiece in the box.
Then there's the 5.1 plus which is the Global Version, has all the 4G bands, a lot more expensive has earpiece in the box and also a better clock speed of the CPU (I think) can't really remember again.
At the bolded like I said I used MTN 4G on the X5, Airtel has well.. MTN also has band 3 on some locations, don't believe me just goto MTN 4G coverage locator and you'll see all their 4G bands .

Oh, now i see. Last time I checked, MTN had band 7, 21, 42/43. Thanks for the update.

Ladies & gentlemen, I just got my device now (A7 pro), after 4 working days (excluding weekends). I'm loving the sight already. The device looks premium, wow. It even come charged (another Wow). But I go still fire small charging Sha . From the look, this is value for money, I mean who could've believed I bought this baby for 44.6k.

Another name for Nokia 5.1 plus is X5. Check. Maybe they now have Global band, but X5 (5.1 plus) does not support MTN 4G band. I wanted to go for it before realizing the limitation. Then I opted for X6 but it wasn't on Jumia express (international custom charger is expensive now). That's when I stumbled on Umibaby.
