EducationRe: Unilag Postgraduate Information Thread 2023/2024 Session-buzor by Unbrandedman: 5:23pm On Jul 22, 2023
Hi Buzor,
Thanks for putting up this guide. Please, what's the fee for MBA full time?
Again, I learned that the FT runs for 15months (3 semesters). Now, does the first school fees take care of these semesters or one has to pay another (complete or partial) fee after the end of the first two semesters (session)?
Thanks in anticipation for your Swift response
EducationRe: Which Course Is Best To Study Among These by Unbrandedman: 11:59am On Jul 02, 2022
Our young ones need re-orientation. You can choose any of these and with determination, become successful. It's no longer about what u studied in school, but about what u can do. If you still have ur eyes on white-collar job in making higher education choices, you may be disappointed. Choose any course that will open the door easily for you to become an entrepreneur and work for yourself after school. I studied one of the hot-cake engineering courses up to masters degree. But for ten years after graduation, I was still struggling to get hold of a better job. What I had then could hardly take care of my basic needs. Then my thoughts shifted to doing something on my own. Having acquired a handful of skill working in the engineering unit of the organization, I set plans into motion and with God on my side, I left the job and things have not been the same since I left four years ago. Not only that my take home became way too better, I also became financially independent, my self worth returned. Today, I am the decision maker and not the policy implementer that was being tossed around. I couldn't feel any better.
So, forget courses, pick up the one u know u have tendency to excel and build an independent life on, after school.
A lot of people studied course better than what u listed here, but have no jobs.
I had a classmate who was also a shoe maker during our uni days. He stayed at the entrance of our hostel and repaired shoes for people. Students looked down on him, but he kept on. By the time we graduated, he was already a pro. He was no longer repairing, but making new shoes. In my ten years of struggle to get hold of life, this guy had nearly six cars doing Uber for him, courtesy of his shoe business. He was making shoes for the high and the mighty in the society.
NIGERIA UNIVERSITY COMMISSION SHOULD INCLUDE *ENTREPRENEURSHIP* in their curriculum and begin to shift the interest of students to production capabilities after school life.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Most Embarassing Day Of Your Life??? by Unbrandedman: 10:01pm On May 11, 2022
I was in the uni, 200 level. I had a crush I v been asking out since we gained admission over one year earlier. But she refused. I got to know she had someone else. One day I invited her to my hostel. Tried so hard to make her sleep with me, but she reluctantly refused. At a point while we were struggling on d bed, she rose up to go. At that time I was already hard-rock. I stood up to block and plead with her more to yield, behold she saw me ejaculating as my seed was dropping live from my boxers. She looked me in the eyes, laughed and said " oh, u v already released". I was so embarrassed. She left and I never talked to her again after that incident. Good news is, many years later she was posted to the city where I had earlier served and working (she didn't graduate with us). She worked right into my house, looking for assistance for a better PPA. It was an opportunity for me to settle that score and I wasted no time doing so. I dropped the relationship after few times of romp because I already had someone to marry. This is real life, not fake.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Why Buhari May Never Support Tinubu, Osinbajo’s Candidacy - Adeyanju by Unbrandedman: 3:51pm On Feb 18, 2022
Tinubu is most likely the next president of Nigeria. The North knows he has coverage in the west. They won't risk loosing the region, unless they don't care if APC fails at the centre.
