Honestly I'm not a fan of HIOS on Tecno devices. It has bloatware and a lot of ads. In this video I show how to get a sleek setup using a third party launcher that's better than what's seen in HIOS.

Earlier today, i was lost in my thoughts. i wanted to create an interesting android home screen setup but did not have an idea of what to start with. So a crazy idea popped up when i looked down. I realised i was wearing a pair of sneakers and then it hit me, I could make a sneaker inspired home screen setup and that's how come i'm writing this.

This sneaker inspired setup was created on top of one of my favourite android launchers, Evie launcher. it feels smooth, no pop up ads, looks good and generally pretty intuitive.

The widget at the top is from cheesecake kwgt. Cheesecake kwgt has some really really really cool widgets that can give your setup a complete overhaul. It must however be noted that, you'll have to install kwgt pro before you'll be able to use the amazing widgets from cheesecake kwgt. This cheesecake widget is called bolded and it gives us details such as the day, date, time and weather information.

The battery icon below the day widget is also from cheesecake kwgt and it is surprisingly called sorryforthisone. The name doesn't however take away from how beautiful and functional this battery widget is.

The icons on this setup are from my newly found favourite icon pack, Borealis. This icon pack has over 8000 icons for almost any app you can think of. It has this squircle vibe going for it and i love its colour themes.
