helinues: Vote against him and support who? Atiku or Peter Obi?
Hahaha, they are both from NE and SE respectively, the regions troubled with insecurity. They don't even have command to talk to their people that might have been behind the insecurity to shelve their swords. The winner of the 2027 presidential election will be decided by how Obi and Atiku play their game. More states in the Middle Belt will swing to Obi because of the way Asiwaju is handling insecurity in their region, while more states in the Core North will swing to Atiku because they want to remove Asiwaju. Therefore, if Obi and Atiku decide to work together, the APC will lose the presidency. Atiku should learn politics from Asiwaju, who is one of the best politicians in Nigeria in terms of ideology. Since 1999, he has not jumped from one party to another; rather, he has maintained his ideology, used his bloc to negotiate with the center, and finally aligned with Buhari to capture the center. As a smart politician, he knew he would not win on his own, so he struck a deal with Buhari's CPC and allowed Buhari, who had the bigger bloc, to go first as a forerunner, win the seat, and then use the central power to strengthen their position. The suggestion is that Atiku should work with Peter Obi, support him to go for one tenure, and then use the resulting central power to secure his own win after Obi's four years. If this alliance is not well planned, and both Obi and Atiku run again, Asiwaju will win again because they will split the bloc vote |

Politics › Air Force Chief Aneke Directs Commanders To Deal Decisively With Terrorists by unclenna(op): 3:05pm On Dec 13, 2025 |
Be Merciless’: Air Force Chief Aneke Directs Commanders to Deal Decisively With TerroristsThe Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has directed Air Component Commanders under the Joint Task Force, North Central, Operation Whirl Stroke, to deal decisively and mercilessly with bandits destabilising communities within the zone. He further urged them to intensify air operations in their Areas of Responsibility while sustaining critical support to ongoing military campaigns across the country. The directive was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame. He noted that the CAS issued the charge during his maiden operational visit to Tactical Air Command (TAC) and its co-located units in Makurdi on Friday. During the visit, Air Marshal Aneke outlined the NAF’s strategic shift toward intelligence-led and technology-enabled operations, anchored on a strengthened safety culture. He stressed that operational efficiency would increasingly depend on innovation and the optimal use of recently acquired air platforms and combat assets. He reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to air power readiness, welfare-driven warfare, and smarter operational strategies designed to maximise mission impact. According to the statement, the visit formed part of the CAS’s nationwide tour of frontline units to assess operational conditions, strengthen command presence, and reinforce expectations for improved mission delivery. “This is not the time to slow down,” he declared. He added, “To retain the initiative in today’s complex security environment, we must ensure the highest levels of aircraft serviceability, weapons readiness, and personnel proficiency. Nigerians recognise your sacrifices, and they rely on us to remain effective and mission-ready.” Air Marshal Aneke also underscored the importance of personnel welfare, stressing that operational excellence cannot be separated from the well-being of officers and airmen. Reiterating his policy of ‘Welfare for Enhanced Warfare’, he assured personnel that Headquarters NAF would continue to prioritise prompt payment of allowances, improved living and working conditions, and robust administrative and medical systems. He encouraged open communication within the Service, adding: “I want to hear your concerns directly because your welfare affects our fighting power. “While we cannot resolve every issue at once, we will apply a structured, prioritised approach to tackle the most pressing challenges,” he said. He further acknowledged the Federal Government’s substantial investment in modern aircraft, armaments, and advanced training programmes. “The Federal Government has shown immense confidence in us through unprecedented support. It is our responsibility to justify that trust by delivering measurable results grounded in discipline, professionalism, and excellence,” he said. In his response, the Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, Air Vice Marshal Patrick Obeya, expressed gratitude for the CAS’s clear guidance and pledged TAC’s total commitment to his vision. He assured that personnel across TAC remain motivated and prepared to deliver decisive air power whenever and wherever required. The CAS, in turn, commended their professionalism and dedication. “Your contributions to Operation Whirl Stroke and other operational theatres demonstrate that Tactical Air Command remains indispensable to our mission. Your courage and devotion continue to inspire confidence across the country,” he said. While acknowledging their invaluable efforts, Air Marshal Aneke cautioned that the prevailing security landscape demands sustained vigilance and heightened readiness. He reiterated that the NAF under his leadership will continue to pursue an environment that is safe, supportive, and operationally efficient, with welfare, career development, and combat effectiveness at its core. Politics › Re: ADC: Obi Will Get Votes - Sam Amadi by unclenna(m): 12:26pm On Dec 13, 2025 |
epainos: Though I am not a fan of Peter Obi, I admire his stance. Yes, I call him Obi Pandora because anyone who is a public servant and invests in Padora or similar companies while holding public office is a thief. Argue with me on this, and you will receive no response.
However, his decision not to work with Atiku now is the best strategy. Obi should go get a Labor or any other party ticket to fly again, and let Atiku kill everyone else in ADC with his money. If Obi competes in the same primary as Atiku, he will lose. The only person who can beat Atiku and has done so more than twice is Bola Tinubu, because Atiku's dollars are nothing compared to Tinubu's. According to Atiku, the only person who can surpass him is Tinubu, who has supported both Atiku and Ribadu. They understand his capabilities. Rather than wait for a new election and remain in France, Tinubu continued to pay. And he has been doing this since the days of NADECO. Ask Dele Momodu, who kept things interesting for them in the UK when they fled from Abacha. Lol. Dele Momodu stated that they always met at his home, and he would settle the majority of the bills. Even support some of them. It's why Dele calls him "egbon" till today. Tinubu invests in people. He may be dubious about his investment strategy, but it is not obvious that he purchased them like Atiku. Atiku makes it clear that he is buying you. This is the difference, and it is why people remain loyal to him. However, if someone cuts you off, thoroughly investigate the person. That fellow may have seen the "real light" or been greedy. People like Aregbesola got greedy. No one can tell me otherwise. But I have my reservation about Osinbajo. Why? He may have seen the light and decided to compete against him, but it was clear that God had not instructed him to. So, when he lost, he walked away from the situation and did not criticize Tinubu in any way. But look at Aregbesola. That's the difference. Perhaps if Osinbajo had listened to God more carefully, he would not have contested. And now he would be the one to enter Aso Rock and tell Tinubu the truth. But how can Osinbajo claim he wants to tell him the truth when he knows what he did?
So, back to Obi. Obi needs to just keep being popular. And boom....he should nor contest of I were him. Let him move into Bola Tinubu's mode. Boom. He would nominate Atiku for Vice President and then strike a deal with Osinbajo, similar to Tinubu's. It is better for that person to betray Obi later than for Obi to become Atiku's Vice President or for him to run again and lose badly. He won't get Abuja and Lagos next time. Never will he get the two cities again. And the whole of the northern land still dey deceive him. Let him not show Nigerians how weak he is, but instead pull his weight with the north, align more with them, and persuade Atiku to support him after his tenure. Obi has more years ahead of him. All he needs to do is go the Tinubu path again. Invest heavily in a good doctor abroad. That's it. Get a home there and visit it frequently to plan how to live a long life, and most importantly, he must be prayerful.
If he goes this route...forgot it...Obi will become the president of Nigeria after Atiku's 4 years. Atiku is desperate now, so, let him sign 4 years. Atiku will do everything to do it. After 4 years, he will turn to Obi to change it. At that point, Obi must rely on Atiku's supporters to keep their promise. Let there be an Imam and many powerful people from the north and south, along with videos. If Obi gives him another four years, he will take something significant from him again. That's how to go about it. Obi get so many chieftaincy titles in the north. Get access to surplus cash to throw around. Above all....invest heavily in predictive analytics to made better decisions. If he can not find experts, he might want to quickly connect with Fashola, who knows the game very well. Fashola sef no sabi anything there, but he knows how to get some good guys. That is if Fashola won't betray him. Lol. So. Let Obi do his homework very well.
I thank God for revealing to me the potential of predictive analytics. That thing is simply too powerful. There is no need for intuition again. I swear it is like entering the spiritual realm and foretelling the future. Too powerful. No matter how many times Obi loses is no one's business. One day he will get it right. Since 1999, Buhari was losing till 2015. That's 16years. |

Skippyvibes: De more pictures of the serpent Based on the image and your location in Nigeria, the snake appears to be an Olive Grass Snake (Psammophis sibilans) or a closely related species of Sand Snake or Grass Snake from the genus Psammophis. Key Identifying Features: Coloration: The body is a yellowish or olive-yellow color, which is a common coloration for these species, especially the Olive Grass Snake. Head: The head is distinctly lighter than the body, appearing pale, cream, or whitish, which aligns with descriptions of certain Psammophis species. Body Shape: It appears to have a relatively slender body, characteristic of Grass/Sand Snakes. Habitat: These snakes are often found in savanna, grassland, and open bush areas, which matches the sandy/dirt ground in the photo. Important Note on Venom: Species in the genus Psammophis (Sand/Grass Snakes) are generally considered mildly venomous and not dangerous to humans, though a bite may cause localized pain and swelling. They are rear-fanged and typically only bite defensively. ⚠️ Important Safety Disclaimer: It is extremely difficult to give a definitive and safe identification from a single photo, especially with snakes, as coloration can vary greatly. The most dangerous snakes in Nigeria, such as the Carpet Viper and Cobras, also have wide distributions. The safest rule is to treat any unidentified snake as venomous and keep a safe distance. |

If you think Americans are your friends you will eventually learn that Americans don’t have friends.
