blink182: Chief I used your auto pivot indicator last week Wednesday and it gave me 8 straight wins but Friday was different, it failed more than it passed. I used it both days on 15min chart.

My question is why does the pivot strategy fail and is there another indicator that could tell if a candle closing below or above any line will not result in the corresponding action?

For example the candle closes above but instead of the next candle being bullish, it becomes bearish.

unclenna: THIS IS MY EXPECTATION FOR EU
RULE: If the market price open far from the Pivot Point (i.e. 60 pips or more) but
not above R1 or S1:
if the market open far from the Pivot Point but not above R1 or S1 — we have very high
expectations that the price will try to correct such "distant irregularity" and thus instead of
progressing further away from Pivot Point it will try to move back towards the Pivot — the gold middle
point of the day.

entry and Exit

For EU I will enter a SELL trade and target the PP as my take profit
The expectations are that the price will revolve around Pivot Point
for the rest of the day.

ehizmac: not until you learn to convert your losses into wining my dear traders you will only be gambling with the market...i know this might sound harsh but its the truth...because when you place a trade and it gives your emotional trauma and high blood pressure i wonder how long one can continue to live that kind of life....am talking from experience trading is suppose to be fun but its the way we approach it via our trading system that it gives us heartbreak...enough said today..happy piping guys

Zeddicus: With all due respect bro. I don't think it is good for you to change your mind on timing due to one loss on GU. These things happen. In the 3 days I have been with this system, GU is the only one that went to SL and Barring GCHF which is currently around -10pips every other trade has ended in one form of profit or the other (and I close manually at market close). Not advising you on anything, but do not rush decisions. This system works well.
