ALGON REJECTS IHEDIOHA'S COMMANDO STYLE OF GOVERNANCE.

The ALGON Imo State chapter has condemned in strongest terms the dictatorial and commando style of governance so far exhibited by Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

Anywhere and everywhere in the world, leadership is based on stratification hence the accordance of the law of reciprocity amongst and between all tiers and stratas of government.

For one man heading an arm of government to wake up one early morning, slap his buttocks and announce the suspension of another duly elected arm of government is not only laughable but calls for psychiatric re-examination of the person giving such garbage as an order.

Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has serially postured himself as a respecter of rule of law and democratic principles but his actions and inactions has so far confirmed the fact that "ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY"

It is significant to inform our Governor at this juncture that there is a limit to how far he can wield his powers hence the need to embrace calm and consultative leadership disposition.

It is no longer news that Imo has been inadvertently thrown into a State of emergency with the myriad of anti peoples policies and tendencies of the "about 3 weeks old administration"

Mr Governor needs to know that Imo is not a banana republic where the entire masses becomes and remains subservient to the ordinances of a FEUDAL LORD in Government House.

We wish to most emphatically and unambiguously remind our Governor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, that he lacks the constitutional enablement to involve himself in a matter that is already settled by the SUPREME COURT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

As Bona Fide members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), We call on the PRESIDENT Of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari to immediately call Imo State Government to order.

The Government of Imo State has carefully avoided the slightest interface with the council chairmen for reasons known to them. This act is inimical to the fact that Government is a continum.

The leadership and membership of ALGON Imo State has shown tremendous respect to the new Government and has extended hands of fellowship for smooth working relationship which the Governor has bluntly ignored.

On the strength of the foregoing, ALGON Imo wishes to enjoin Imo people to remain calm and law abiding while the lawlessness lasts.

The Government of Imo State needs to know that ALGON Imo will do everything within the confines of legality to uphold the mandate freely given to them by the people of Imo State

We MUST be careful to note that power is transient and we all shall certainly converge at a later stage to compare notes

Hon Oscar who is the councillor representing Umudioka Owerri in Orlu LGA is dead. He died this morning.
After a peaceful protest demonstration at the imo state house of assembly which was later hijacked by SARS who beat up and brutalized so many councilors sent by the governor of imo state emeka ihedioha.
The whole state is mourning this faithful and honorable fighter and condemned the action of emeka ihedioha.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Imo state local government council illegally suspended by imo state house of assembly and beaten up by policemen with tear gas while peaceful demonstrating the illegal act.
The evil act was master minded by Rt hon chinedu offor after collecting a huge of money from emeka ihedioha.
The court still remains the hope of a common man and the local government council will get there stay back from the court.

The local government autonomy has also been granted by his excellency president mohammadu Buhari, and we hope the governor of imostate follows this to ensure a better local government in imo state.

Hon. Ohadoma uchenna a 25years old councilor from umuikea, emeabiam Owerri-west lga who happens to be the deputy chief -whip of Owerri west legislative council, imo state. Now has a record of being the youngest parliamentarian in nigeria. And has set a pace for the young youths and indeed a symbol of the not too young to run bill.

Hon. Engr. Ohadoma uche, rates imo state local government legislative council to be the best in nigeria. After seeing the recent developments and rapid developments in rural roads and basic amenities, that's why we thankGod for the NFIU which has a long way in doubling the good work of the local government legislative council in collaboration with our amiable local government chairman.

Also we want to appreciate his excellency the president of the federal for this Great opportunity and love he has shown upon the local government.

The senate has passed the purported bill for local government area Autonomy into an act, with the assent of the president, Muhammadu Buhari.
The bill according to the Senate, is with immediate effect.
