Take Note: in prophecy, we have Forthtelling and Foretelling. Forthtelling means addressing an issue that is at hand through the word of God(word of prophecy). While Foretelling means prediction of the future. But can an enemy of God prophesy? Don't conjure prophecy, if you do your reward awaits you--- Jeremiah 23:15. Hindrances to prophecy: Self, Satan and God. I said God because if the prophecy is a false truth and will not give Him glory, it can be hindered. |

Text: ACTS 16:16-22 Topic: SAY NO TO EVIL GAIN 16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. Introduction: in this season of rush, everybody is running hectare scatter to make it whether in a good or in a bad way--- all that matters is that they must celebrate life, even if it is at the risk of other people’s lives. With the increase of evil knowledge, ideas from the pit of hell, demons wearing flesh on assignment, devil demystified, Lucifer and his productions, worldly entanglements, sons of perdition here and there, daughters of Jezebel and Delilah roaming the streets, etc. It seems that the sons of light have no place to tread upon and if the little remnants could cry out blood, they would, because of what they have seen on earth. And the heart of many believers has been hardened, broken, and shattered at different occasions because of the turn out of evil tidings and atrocities ravaging their world today!!! With these, it takes us to a topic titled SAY NO TO EVIL GAIN. What is Evil Gain? • Evil Gain is that bitter water that has soaked deep into our bones as a nation. • Evil Gain has been packaged and repackaged to become accepted norms in our world. • Evil Gain has caused many with inordinate desires to land crash, thereby sending them to eternity unprepared. • Evil Gain has made many a walking corps; stinking and oozing odour. • Evil Gain has caused many to closed up/wiped out their family in the quest of money must be made. • Evil Gain has landed many behind the bars and caused them to smell rods. • Evil Gain has sent many to hellfire. • Evil Gain has terminated many destinies. • Evil Gain has hindered many from entering into their Canaan land. • Evil Gain has hindered many promises and prophecies. • It has caused many to commit suicide. • It has caused many to soil their hands with blood. • It has tarnished the image of many. • It has reduced heroes to zeroes. • It has caused many to compromise their stand with God. • It has sent a lot of people parking. • It has caused men to lower the banner of Jesus in His church today. • It has caused individuals, families, groups, conglomerates, communities, towns, societies and nations to be sold outrightly to the devil and his demons. • It has landed many in their sickbed. • It has landed many to their early grave. • It has caused many to enter where they vowed and wished not to enter. • It has caused some to join what they didn’t bargain for. • It has melted many hearts. • It has turned the heart of the government against its citizenries and the heart of the citizenries against the government. • It has caused betrayal in different quarters. • It has hardened the heart of many against doing well or being kind to others. • It has wrought abominable, woes and disgrace. • It heightened the atmosphere of mistrust in our world today. • It has placed many on drugs. • It has prompted abortions here and there. • Many ladies have died in the process of abortion due to Evil Gain. • Many have gone missing because of this subject matter. • Many have become slaves to their paymaster Devil. • A man has requested for a prostitute and his daughter showed up because of this gain. • Mother and daughter had met at the same club with their different men, while the father of the daughter, who is the husband of the woman, is at home. • A pump attendant admired her customer at a length because of the great and magnificent car the man came with, and she said to him, I wish to be like you and the man said she shouldn’t wish so, before leaving the filling station the man removed his cap and showed her, his head was full of maggots and the man said he wishes to be like her. The pump attendant learned her lessons. Who are you wishing to be like? Some Evil Gain taking place in our world: Aceldama: The blood money. Come we will show you the way to make wealth and comfort without life and blood being involved, but in the end life and blood will be involved. Say No To Aceldama! Many have wiped out their entire family because of this, in some families, people die with intervals; 2 years, 3 years, and 4 years because of Aceldama. Many have sold out themselves outright to the devil because of Aceldama. So many people today are walking corps, in the sense that maggots and insects have overtaken some part of their body because of Aceldama. Many homes are childless because of Aceldama. Say No To Aceldama!! Aceldama has wasted much innocent blood. Many crashed marriages because of Aceldama. Many destinies were hijacked and will still be hijacked because of this. Many soldiers of the cross are bridged, wounded, and lie sore because of Aceldama. Children unborn are being dedicated to the throne of darkness because of this. Diabolism the order of the day because of Aceldama. Parents having suffered and trained their children, hoping that as it is written “cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days”, but, instead of receiving consolation and cares for the fruit of their labour they were being sacrificed for money rituals. The heart of the parents has been turned against their children and the heart of the children against their parents for evil, because of Aceldama. It has caused many to beget hooligans and imbeciles as a result of Aceldama. To join is very easy but to come out is very hard. I urge you to Say No to Aceldama!!! Consider the death of Judas Iscariot--Acts 1:18, Matthew 27:5 and advise yourself. Modern Harlotry: in this age of digitization, harlotry has gone digital. This set of people just with their smartphone and data, they are done. Today Hook up websites and dating apps have made their runs coded. It can’t be overemphasized how Social Media is digitizing prostitution today! On some of these sites when you say Hi to a girl, she will reply “short time or overnight”. How To Know Them: • Shopping • Travelling here and there • Dressing naked or half-naked • Moving with current trends • They have a rented apartment or stay in school • Pet names/English names • They know their terms for the business/language. Harlotry: They are very happy to sell their body for payment. They stay in Brothels, Hotels, Clubs, and Streets. It has gone so wild and bizarre that even our little girls of (10) years of age, has joined this very ugly trade. Listen well today among our youth, you will be hearing “small pin and big pin charger”; That’s harlotry. Brother, Sister, please Say No To Evil Gain because many have exchanged their Soul for naught for the course of this gain. Have you not heard? Have you not seen? How many folks of this calibre have died excruciatingly and regrettably. Yet, many are still joining them to trade their body ---the abode of God which shouldn’t be defiled. Yes, you may say I know every Pros and cons of this trade; indeed science has taught you all. Also, you are backed up by your spiritual mothers and fathers who are on the altars as an evil Manthan for you. But I tell you a day shall come that you will be ensnared in that evil path and there will be no way out for you. Now is the time to make a decision to follow Jesus today!!! Looting: they loot to an extent that they don’t know their wealth and properties at large. Bribery and Corruption: looting, scamming, drug baron and cartelism, internet fraudulent activities, telling lies in business, exam malpractices, nepotism and favouritism, things that are not meant for sale are being sold, inordinate desires to make it at all cost, creating a monopoly, scarcity, and inflation to enrich themselves. When you talk about Evil Gain in this country, it is like the Leprosy of Gehazi; no parastatal is free. Diversion: take this and give it to the masses, the masses didn’t receive it, neither did the people that gave it did receive it back! How great is that Evil Gain? Killing To Overthrown / Killing To Overtake: just to become a boss, a junior staff kills a senior staff to overtake. Family members kill each other to assume positions and take over properties. Stealing: stealing everywhere. Even things that have less value to be stolen are being stolen!!! In the church of God stealing is on, not to mention outside. Forgery: people today falsify things, in Offices, Churches, Schools, Businesses, just to gain the upper hand. Say No To Evil Gain. Cheating: lying in business, relationship, marriages, and classroom exams. Just to make it quick!!! Woes and Abominable: incest is on the increase, it seems like a norm today. Incest is human sexual activity between family members or close relatives. Bestiality: is no longer news today. Bestiality is a sexual affair between humans and animals. It is rampant today! Rape: rape is nothing to write home about; it is an act of sexual intercourse with an individual without his or her consent, through force or threat of force.
