[quote author=lilliesboy post=72073353]Acceptance Fee for 2016/17 and 2017/18 sets respectively was N20,400 and I believe it won't change next year for the 2018/19 set. Budget a maximum of N23,000 for it. As for school fees and PG hostel accomodation, it depends on the Department and kind of programme one is running. However, for those running ACADEMIC Masters Programme in Faculty of the Social Sciences you should budget a MINIMUM sum of N200,000 for Acceptance Fee, School Fee, and hostel accomodation because Sociology for instance pays a minimum sum of N125,000 (for UI alumnus) and N132,400 (for non-UI alumnus) on entry. I paid N132,400 this year as school fees only. Hostel accomodation is around N45,000 but it is OPTIONAL. So, start saving at least N200,000 if you applied into the Social Sciences and even Arts/Humanities. Engineering, Law, Sciences, and Medicine should budget a MINIMUM of N150,000 as school fee only. You will pay between N250,000 to even N350,000 for everything. In the last or 3rd Semester everyone will pay HALF of the amount of their first school fee on entry. Masters programme is not easy if you lack funds or means of livelihood! Plan wisely![/quo I want to know, will there be a test for Human Nutrition department, and how is it going to be like. Thanks |
