Even if Olakulehin will not be king, the next king will come from the same line too. So baba Ladoja should rest.
Yes he is the person that will nominate the Olubadan designate as the head of the line that's not producing Olubadan

NO

Based on my knowledge, The olubadan is not by line or family, it is by your rank. It starts when you become a magaji, then you start to rise.

So, if someone is unfit, I think they will pick d next in rank.

There is a military and civil line. Yes, you rise through the ranks but the different lines take turns to become Lubadan.

Thats where the problem is. It is the turn of a line not a person. If the senior person from that line is not available, does the line forfeit its turn or they go with the most senior person from the same line?

Yes. It leaves that line.

Thank you for this, if you're in the banking sector or Maritime sector, and in Apapa, you would be aware that we pay a number of fees all in USD. From Shipping payments to companies like MSC, Ocean network, Cosco etc, to regulatory payments to Nimasa, NPA etc all these end up putting pressure on the Naira, because the people making these payments would have to source it from the parallel market. I sincerely want to understand why these payments must be in USD, for companies doing business in Nigeria and also our Government regulatory agencies.

Did they list your industry as part of those put on the watch list? Make una try dey read carefully.

Oga, tickets are sold in USD. Thank God for travel agencies that enable travellers pay in Naira.

You don't know what you are saying. If tickets are cold in dollar, how come CBN was not able to pay airlines their money when Nigeria had less forex at hand!

What about Airlines Sir? Did you deliberately overlook them.

Airlines don't charge you in dollar here in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Petrol: Oil Marketers Propose N550/litre Price To Dangote by unitysheart(m): 8:34am On Apr 08
rinzaugustine:
Lol..let us view this with common sense. Tinubu said he increased Nigeria oil production to 1.5m bpd. Nigerian oil, Venezuela etc is known as sweet crude and one of the best in the world. The aim of dangote building a refinery was to receive crude from Niger delta, refine it and make fuel, kerosene and diesel cheaper than imported ones and save Nigeria trillions of naira in loss to petroleum importation. Why would same dangote now need a large chunk of the country’s foreign exchange to import petroleum products from overseas at rates subsidized by FG for a completed refinery, similar to what petroleum marketers have done in the past more than 20 years?

Calm down.

Nigeria have obligations to fulfill for now. Don't forget that they have agreed to various swap deals before now. Until they see out those agreed deals, they may not be able to supply what Dangote fully needs.

They should appeal to the Supreme Court.

Nonetheless, the application is frivolous, vexatious, irritating and annoying, the Supreme Court will reduce the fine.

Senator Nwokocha who asked for review was fined by the Supreme Court N5m. So I know the Apex Court based on the Mutfwang judgement will see some genuine reason to reduce the fine.... For the substantive case, Otilo...

You under-estimate our politician, just wait for the judgement from Plateau High Court on stay of execution.

Perny wise, pounds foolish. So the lawyers no go collect more than 3m if they take the case to supreme court abi. Dey play o.

I can understand it's a crime buying the banks (or anything else for that matter) from ill-gotten wealth.
However what I need clarification for is this: is it ethically or legally wrong to buy a bank in distress if you are the CBN Governor, assuming you plan to follow due process?

You can't as a CBN governor.
