He started with normal cigarette, then hemp. Just last week in one of his confessional bouts, he said he was introduced to Heroine/Cocaine in 2011. I have friends that are into hemp, but they are very much ok, some married with lovely family

@unknownT, these complaints you have just mentioned are enough to get him to any rehab home or hospital. That's a typical presentation of a drug or substance abuse, gradually he may become disinhibited depending on the substance he is abusing and may become a danger to himself or people around him. Neglect of personal hygiene in someone who used to care about it, these are subtle signs that he may be developing psychosis and losing touch with reality. Take him to a psychiatric Hospital close to you and lay these complaints. I must warn you that most times people abusing drugs wld not willing come in for treatment, so you shld expect some or alot of resistance particularly because he would deny having any problem.

Thank you, arrangement is been made to take him to Uselu. This is someone who while growing up had a good prospect. He used to cut all his hairs (bololo hairstyle), but these days, he keeps an unkempt afro, cos I believe he would rather use the money to do drugs than spend it on himself. The few clothes he has now are bought by his parents and JUNIOR ones at least to make him look presentable. About taking him there, what he normally does is when he is soo low on cash, he will start confessing telling whoever cares to listen that he is an addict, that he has changed(has said that uncountable times), that the family should help him out but once he has been given money, he would disappear. Taking him to Uselu is the last attempt the family has decided to take and I hope it works out for them. Also, he has been told indirectly about going to a rehab home, he agreed(he always agrees when he is in need of money/supply), but if he later rescinds, plan B is to involve plain policemen to help bundling him there.

@nayandupu , what are the chances of rehabilitating a drug addict in a mental hospital ( say Uselu in Edo state) ? The person in question when he is with outsiders, he relates normally with them that people may get to like him but in the family, he is something else, always harassing the mother for money. He is always unkempt, literally has no shame again, he can go any extreme to beg people for money, and these are people who if he had lived well( a graduate) he would be d one helping them.
He is a smooth liar, my fear is that while in Uselu, he may deceive the doctors that he is now normal (he has deceived many pastors, family friends that have volunteered to help) and after his release, he still goes back to drugs

Dude, which one is live in denial or lie? Vanguard reported an attacked that happened on Friday last week today, how is that lying or living in denial? In attacks like this, it is not every attacks that are reported. Some pockets of attack(whether successful or unsuccessful) go unreported and I don't blame vanguard for that, it happens everywhere there are terror attacks. If you don't understand what I meant in that post, you should ask for clarification and don't jump into conclusion
