It's the most immediate solution to the states budget issues. They can't wait on federal government to adjust the allocation formula. States debt profiles are growing much faster than the revenue generation. Its the same at the national level really. This is also why the budgets are always tiny compared to other countries like egypt and south Africa especially when u factor in population.

Some will say its because its hard to tax informal economy but it seems states like Kano figured something out.

Can someone please explain what cause this skewness of data.
In 1993 ondo state had more than 1 million voters but in 2019 provided less than 600000 votes. Comparing the 2 presidential results a lot of questions surface that will surely leads to a lot of theories here and there.
