Ahmadu Bello University welcomes application for the 2012/2013 screening of candidates that sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for admission into undergraduate programmes of the University. Please take time to read the following guidelines before you register for the screening.

Qualtification for Screening
A. Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for science based courses;
B. Candidates who scored 190 and above in UTME for Arts, Social Science, Law and administration;

All candidates who fall within the cut off point in (a) and (b) above must have the prescribed subject combinations in the UTME examination as required by their proposed courses of study (information as contained in the JAMB brochure for UME candidates

N.B: Those whose UTME subject combinations are not correct need not come as they will not be allowed for the screening exercise.

Procedure for Online Registration for UTME Screening
Registration for the screening exercise will commence from Monday 18thJune, 2012 and close on Sunday 15th July, 2012. Applicants are required to pay a sum of N2, 000.00 for the screening exercise. This is exclusive of bank administrative charges.

e. Select e-Transact. Enter the confirmation order and receipt numbers (these are issued at the bank at the point of payment) then click "Continue".
f. Complete the application form as appropriate.

4. You will equally be required and prompted to upload a coloured passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size. If you are not familiar with making your passport in this format, let a cafe attendant help you.

5. Read and accept the attestation, cross-check your entries on the application form, if okay

6. Print out your Application form. You will be required to present this at a later date, so keep it

KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY POST UTME 2012
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR HND
Applicants for admission into the HND programmes will be required to have the following qualifications:

National Diploma ND with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant field and five (5) relevant O/L Credit pass at WASC, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
Evidence of one year Post ND Cognate experience (Industrial Training)
Applicants with Pass Grade in the ND will be required to have at least two (2) years Post National Diploma Industrial Experience.
Applicants in Agricultural Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology options) are required to have at least a Lower Credit Grade pass at National Diploma (ND) programme in any of the following:
Agricultural Engineering Technology
Agricultural Technology
Food Science Technology
Applicants for Metallurgical Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering Technology only.
Applicants for Mining Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Mineral Resources Engineering Technology only.
Holders of ND Computer Engineering are not admissible into HND Elect/Elect. Engineering Technology and HND Computer Science Programmes.
Candidates will not be admitted into HND programmes different from those they had in their ND programmes

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)

Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) Programmmes will be required to have a minimum of five (5) O/L Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
Credit Pass in Mathematics and English language is compulsory for all applicants seeking admission into any programme in the Polytechnic.
For National Diploma (ND) in Public Administration, a Credit pass in a Science subject is required.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FORPRE-NATIONAL DIPLOMA SCIENCE PROGRAMME
Applicants seeking admission into the Pre-ND programme must be INDIGENES OF KWARA STATE with at least five passes in WASC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB which must include English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
