There is need for us to venture into electronic voting here in Nigeria. Also manual and bvas can be on also. But electronic voting must be strictly for civil servants, diaspora with provision of their passport numbers. Also our civil servants will submit their templates of the staff then . This will help ad-hoc staffs, military, police , inec works, will participate. Also election should be canceled in lagos and river state.

My friend was harassed not to vote because he is Yoruba.

Even though he is an obi supporter he was subjected to slaps and Punches because of his dress code, and a few that know his tribe.

I laughed at him because I have always told him as a Rivers man that you can't trust them. They give what they can not take.

And when you try to educate them they call you ewu, saying you support Yoruba over your brothers.

For you to win a presidential election without South East and South South majority votes, you have to win at least 80% northern votes.
from what I'm seeing I don't think Tinubu is getting 80% votes in the north.
in 2019 buhari got 25% in SE states like imo Abia and Ebonyi.

if you're being realistic you'll know that for Tinubu to win this election he needs a landslide win of 80% or more in the north like Buhari did in 2019.

the question here is with Atiku huge presence in the north and also Kwankwaso, can Tinubu get 80% in the north to neutralize whatever Peter Obi will get in SE SS and probably NC?
mind you unlike 2019 there's heavy turn out in SE
for the first time seeing a PU with over 1k votes for one person in SE.
but there was low turn out in the SE in 2019.

The entire vote that will come from SE in this election would likely be way above 5 million. When people were talking about Simon Ekpa and his minions here I laughed. This election is not an ordinary election for us.

I have a few points to raise that makes me question the need for a PVC.

1. INEC says they will use BVAS at all polling units, BVAS is a device that will have the data of every voter that has been registered to vote at that polling unit

2. INEC says they will use facial and fingerprint to validate voters, so in that case, there cannot be double voting, or voting with fake identity.

3. INEC says that the results of a polling unit will be cancelled if the number of voters on the ballot exceeds the number of voters on the register.

If INEC has all these systems in place, why can’t nigerians just register and vote with their finger print? why subject citizens to long queues for a card that they don’t end up using at the polling unit and end up disenfranchising potential voters.
