NOTE: this is no means a way to raise false alarm or create panics, but a "revealer" of how not to be taking by suprise...28 Sep 2012 The English Premier League has moved to secure one of its key overseas broadcast deals after extending its partnership with African pay-television broadcaster SuperSport through the 2015-16 season. The League on Thursday announced that SuperSport has been awarded the live broadcast rights for all 380 Premier League matches per season in South Africa, Nigeria, and Sub-Saharan Africa in a new three-year deal commencing with the 2013-14 campaign. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the League has reportedly secured an increase on the value of the existing deal. SuperSport chief executive, Happy Ntshingila, said: “The Barclays Premier League has been a mainstay of SuperSports’ offering for many years and we are delighted to have once again extended the partnership.” The Premier League in June secured a huge 70% rise in the value of its domestic live broadcast rights, with BSkyB and BT splashing out a combined £3.018 billion in an agreement spanning three seasons from 2013-14 to 2015-16. It is now in the process of concluding deals in overseas markets and is seeking to exceed the value of its current set of international rights, which are worth around £1.3 billion over three years. Premier League chief executive, Richard Scudamore, added: “We have worked with SuperSport for a number of years and are extremely pleased to extend our partnership. They will continue to deliver a premium offering that will showcase the Barclays Premier League to our many fans in South Africa, Nigeria, and Sub-Saharan Africa.” 1 Like |

A̶̲̅♏ nw admitted 2 OOU (statistics) ..OAU i fear ooYou are totally correct. Everything boils down to "Competition for Limited Spaces". OAU will alwayz be forced to make SELECTION (yes, selection). They cant admit all. As evident on the list, Computer Listing was used and there was even Quota allocated to departments, all in attempt to make sure they are able to maintain the Capacity they can carry (We all know our Universities dont have the facilities and the staffs). So, dont sweat it if you aint admitted. I wouldnt give up cos "If only we can go until (keep trying).... there is nothing you cant accomplish in Life. Though I can understand why some are crying over spilt milk... If you dont cry over it, you wont understand why and how it was spilt and ultimately you wont learn how not to spill it next time. |

HumbleServant: Only 8 name's was released in my department, all was Yoruba names, n my name not yet there. But my Nce result via transcript was Distinction. Any hope for me? Will there be any other list?Yeah... that maybe true. The lists are full of yoruba names and you had distinction. but know that a typical Yoruba person doesnt want to leave the SouthWest for another part to study... that translates to very high competition for limited spaces that even when u have distinction, you chances are still very low. Anyway, I still understand the long leg factor, u cant take that away. Just have faith in God Sir. |
