It already did if you're holding BTC, if altcoins, yes, it will happen.
grin grin grin grin Each time you keep saying alt season will come, I find it amusing. This is because I keep trying to understand why you believe in it.

Take for instant MYXUSDT, someone holding that coins a month back will tell you that he experienced a massive bull run, especially if he sold when the price hit $18. At the same time, someone holding ADA is still crying for bull run to start.

Personally, I think that every day is a bull and bear market. Everything depends on the coin you are holding at the moment. The time when almost all altcoins were increasing by 200% - 500% within a period of one week is gone. Forget it.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS CURRENT THOUGHT ON THE MARKET SO FAR
As a trader, I think everyone should work on a strategy that makes us not to care again about the market. A kind that if you are in a coffee shop and hear that the market is crashing, you won't even lose a hair about it.

But as we all know, between our emotions and our middle leg, I don't know which controls us more. Once they take over, everything else is secondary. Preaching is easier than practising what we preach.

Market so frustrating angry at this point, I don't even know if it's to cut my losses n move on to normal trading . cry
Abeg, which one is normal trading grin? In crypto, there is nothing like normal trading. Everything is not normal. You trade Spot, one dip might tie you down forever. You trade Futures, one dip alone will send you to God knows where.

He has been into crypto since we were flatmates

He has now bloavked me and I don't know if I should involve police or what I'm so shattered. My hard earned savings just go like that how can 218 dolls turn to 38.

See me thanking God for not falling for CBEX only for me to fall into crypto. Nonesense!!!!
In crypto trading, never ask how can a $218 turn to $38. During the crash of LUNA, I know someone whose $60,000+ became less than $58 ( I mean 5 8 that is less than $100).

Let me tell you, your friend might be a successful trader but it does not mean that he doesn't experience bad days. If you have not called him up, you might not know that he sometimes do have bad moments. The only mistake I think he made is telling you that $218 will become more than $400 in less than 3months. That is what I called gambling and not trading.

People like him is the reason GraceGlory always say '" I am not a gambler grin grin grin".

Sometimes it is good to learn somethings before investing. At least it will let you know whether the marketer( your friend) is hyping his profit or not. It will help you to know the possibility of his claims. It will help you to make your own decision.

If you have no agreement with him when you gave the money, please give him time but make sure that he agrees to pay complete when the time reach. If you cannot wait, please collect the $38 and move on. Let it be one of your crypto investment life lesson

Most Altcoins have been dipping for about 3 years, then you think they'd just remain that way. You have no idea of what's already coming.
I love your spirit. I have to admit that sometimes I wonder if you really believe (as in 100%) that some of these coins will smell their previous ath again when you think of how many coins are being released each day into the market.

Back in 2021 when I was doing futures, transaction and funding fees always run up to ~$2 at most, sometimes $1. This was on Binance if I remember well enough.

But with Bitget, I keep loosing ~$4 per trade, and my leverage never exceeds 5X. Am I the only on this boat?
It might depend on the coins that you were trading, your margin amount, or the volatility of the coin. I don't know much about Bitget, but on Binance, I have noticed that if a coin is experiencing a bullish trend, the funding fee becomes high. As for the transaction fee, check how they charge their fee. It should be on their site or you can find it on CoinMarket

My suggestion is, try to factor the charge when taking profit.

This is the worst bull market ever. The good days of altcoins are behind us
Forget bullrun. Given the way people have been shouting 'mother of all bullruns' since 2024, I was thinking that by now, BTC would be more than $400,000. Btc ETF was approved, and there wasn't much difference. I strongly doubt if BTC would be above 100k if Trump has lost the election.

It is better to find a trading strategy that can earn you 5% to 10% of your capital monthly than to wait for a bull run, which no one can tell you when it will happen.

What really is alt season, cos most coins have a btc pair. And if they have a btc pair, that means at btc increases, they increase and as btc drops, they drop too.

So what really is alt season, then?
Bless you!!!. Alt season, Alt season but the moment BTC coughs, alt coins will start trembling. There is nothing like Alt season. There is no way BTC will dip like Eth did last time and alt coins won't bleed badly.

If you buy coins and it start increasing, abeg don't forget to take profit. Waiting for it to do 1000x is dangerous.

which one is you want to bet😂🤣if e sure you do it and profit from the market hahaha
Telling me to open a short position and hold it until December makes me wonder how someone who claims to trade Futures can say such a thing.

My question to you is: What makes you believe I'll lose when you have no idea how much capital I have, my trading strategy, my leverage, my margin, when I take profit, my DCA method?

Please, when we are making an assertion, we shouldn't make it blindly to avoid looking funny.

if you want to know how ignorant you are, short a coin now on future and leave it till December if you will not cry😂🤣😂🤣
You want to bet? If your answer is yes, then let's bet with $1,000. We will choose a well-known person on Nairaland and send the usdt to the person. Then pick a coin on Binance. I will short the coin and work on it till December 31st.

I promise you that by the end of our contest, I will never be the one sitting on the losing end.

Ladies and gentlemen, please note that the bull and bear season you are waiting for is already among us. If you are waiting for altseason, forget it. If BTC starts increasing by 1% to 5% each day, all other coins will start increasing by 5% to 15% but if BTC dip again, all will start dipping.

Brothers, if you can get hold of a coin before it is listed on any major platform, that is what I call a bull run. Any other run is counterfeit. All crypto chart now looks similar. Almost all top 100 coins have the same chart flow. Stop waiting for an imaginary bull run or bear run.

You never can tell. All it needs is just one news. News like Binance has been hacked, a financial crisis similar to 2008, or two world powers going to war.

One bad news is enough to bring BTC price down. So never say never.

20x leverage is still fair when compared to 100x leverage. 100x leverage is way too much na.

Even 5x dey fear me sometimes sef.
I understand you perfectly. Even Binance will warn you that 10x is very risky. Some people believe that even 20x is suicide, let alone thinking 50x and above. The truth is, they are all right, but sometimes curiosity makes us discover a gem. I don't advise people to use high leverage if they don't know what they are doing.

BigDickProblems:
Nice. Thank God you were not liquidated. It’s a painful experience.

What is your leverage per trade? Trading amount? And ofcourse the average trading fee from Binance on futures trading?

Most importantly, would you be kind enough to share your strategy?
Everyone has suffered liquidation at one point. It is an ugly experience. Based on your question,
1.) My leverage per trade: I always use the maximum leverage a coin offers. For example, if I am trading BTC and ETH, their maximum is 125, which I use. SOL is 100, and most other coins like XRP, ADA, etc are 75

2.) I do not care much about the trading fee since I ensure that my profit takes care of the fee. It is like giving to Caesar what belongs to Caesar (Here, Binance is the Caesar).

If you look at the last picture I posted last time, the negative (loss) is all due to "Funding Fee" which occurs every 8, 6 or 4 hours,, depending on the coins you are trading and their volatility. Check the new picture, you will notice that there was no trade on the 23rd and at the end of the day, the fee accumulated to -2.06dollar. So pay attention to funding fee by choosing the right coins to trade.

For the trading amount, it depends on trading capital, and I trade with 5% to 10% of my trading capital.

3.) I use a bot to trade, which I developed. This bot has been in the making for the past 2- 3 years. I keep maintaining and updating it. I have tried so many different options and strategies, and it isn't easy to say.

Hahaha, not at all. I used to post on one of my other threads, but the Nairaland bot wasn't too happy about that. On one of the occasions, I was even banned for editing a post, which is confusing. It is discouraging.

Here is my current trading this month so far.

As in , which kind miracle one happen for here?
Even the owners of most of these coins don't believe in their recovery. Most of these coins rode on hype. When the hype dies down, the coins become stagnant and diminish in value. Look at APE, SAND, and all those Metaverse coins. The worst is that some founders will abandon the project and move on to another one.

Only BTC makes sense, but it is not volatile again for fast money.

The only thing that crypto has solved is fast transactions and flexibility. There is not much difference between banks and crypto trading platforms like Binance. Banks' KYC requirements are even more relaxed than those of the trading platform Kyc.

If the bank freezes your money without any reasonable excuse, you still have the chance to go to any of their branches and make some noise. But if any trading platforms freeze your money, you will explain until your tongue touches the ground.

If banks can find a way to make transactions very fast without hassles, believe me, crypto daily transactions will reduce by half.
