I want to tell a long story on my bet has ruined my life and it seems over for me.
Please try and read to the end and advise me on how to survive this before i end it completely.

This is a two ways option for me, either death or jail.

I am an addicted gambler, although sometimes I do win and lose but last year December 2023, I made the worst mistake of my life which is about to kill me or send me to jail.

I was working as a security guard before God help me I was promoted with a better pay job at the same organization due to my boldness and credibility despite having on SSCE certificate.

During the December period, a colleague of mine, has a friend who always transfer huge money to his account to help me withdraw new note because we work in a bank and we have much access to cash.

That my colleague was going for Christmas holiday but I was on duty, he gave me a new note of 100k to give the man when he come, he connects me with the man

The following day the man call me to send my account number so he can transfer some money to my account to help him withdraw, which he transfer 200k to me and I withdraw it complete for him.

He came the following day to collect the money and tip me 3k

He said he will send me extra 400k to withdraw which I told him not to send it until they load money in the ATM then I will call him but he insists that he might not be available when they load the money since it's festive period people might withdraw all.

So he sent the money, 2 to 3 days they dnt load money, so I got some problem and I use 30k to solve it with the hope to replace it, but things got worse for me. I gamble 270k from that money. Jesus

I was left with 130k and I was afraid to even place another bet, I have to run a way to the village abandoning my work because I was afraid of police to come and pick me not knowing that my nightmare just started.

I spend the new year in the village return to lagos to face my fears

This man has been calling and sending me texts, he went and report in my office, everyone is looking for me

Now I dnt have a job again and I dnt have his money, what should I do, I cannot tell anybody about this, even my brother who i stay with I only tell me on leave of two weeks.
Am just so scared like this.

What should I do, i dnt want to go to jail and I dnt want my family to get involved and I cannot die na

I dnt know how to go about to plead for time why I hustle my way to pay back this money.

Please someone should advise me, am ready for any insult but please someone should talk to me, what should I tell this man.

I even think of looking for where to steal this money from but that will still end in the same jail am running away from.
