Such statements shows the selfish mentality of Nigerian politicians, self serving and all about personal belle politics.

The mentality is too low

FamilyRe: Why Do Children Tend To Love Their Mother More Than Their Father? by Ushman333: 11:46am On Mar 15, 2025
It's the biology effect..they are a outcome of their mother's anatomy, mothers make the child literally, formation etc, so it's natural to feel them more...we carry more of our mothers in us.

We already have enough laws that allows the security forces to use lethal force to stop anyone who is actively engaged in the destruction of life and property. Nobody is against that. The problem is that the Nigerian authorities have flagrantly abused the anti-terrorism laws of Nigeria for political reasons, and in the process, made Nigeria one of the most insecure countries on earth.

An example of this is with Boko haram. When Boko haram started under the leadership of Yusuf Dikko, they were radical, but not armed or violent. Then the authorities invaded, killed many of Dikkos followers, captured Dikko and publicly executed him. Shekau took over, armed the group. Today, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, millions have been displaced, and billions of Naira that could have been used for other things have been spent fighting in the North East for over 10 years

The authorities repeated this nonsense with IPOB in the South East. In 2017, IPOB was unarmed and touched nobody. The authorities declared opration python dance for an unarmed group, invaded, killed many of them, attacked Nnamdi Kanu's house, killed people, and declared IPOB a terrorist group. The once peaceful South East has had no peace since then

The authorities repeated this again with the unarmed Shiites group, IMN. They invaded, killed hundreds of them, nearly killed IMN leader El Zakzaky, then declared IMN a terrorist group. I have no doubt that they too would have taken up arms against Nigeria had El Zakzaky died.

The point is that if the authorities do not apply the law in fighting terrorism, they will only create many more terrorists, and terrorism because innocent people are likely to be killed. Excessive and unjustified use of force will only worsen insecurity because where there is no justice, there is never peace

That is why Nigeria is today the 6th most terrorised country on earth
Gibberish, you need to get a job.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu To Catholic Bishops: I’m Not A Religious Bigot by Ushman333:
Show workings baba, I know you are a civilised man, but closing down schools because some people are observing a religious rite is wrong. Use attorney general of Federation to fight these illegalities. You are wise but they are just bigots so don't let them spoil your government. Shutting down schools because a religious sect is fasting is archaic, an infringement on the rights of those students and a drift to religious state...all those sharia laws in the North is wrong for a secular nation.

America under Trump won't tolerate this ,baba fight them now or expect more sanctions and barring from America, they won't take us seriously, any nation that allows religion dictate it's social, cultural or economic life is not yet civilised. The closing of schools in Northern Nigeria is why America attacked.

Any nation that wants to develop and remain stable and peaceful must seperate religion from state affairs, religion is a personal issue.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Immigration Must Wake Up To It's Responsibility by Ushman333(op): 11:22am On Mar 15, 2025
Nigerian Immigration every year budget is passed for your functions and obligations to Nigeria and Nigerians, show workings, we need to see deportation of some of these people from sahel in Nigeria, they are spreading terrorism all over Nigeria, they hide within their people who are illegals and have been staying in certain areas of the country. Please do more and start profiling people, the illegals should be sent out, this terrorism is carried out by illegals who became comfortable in Nigeria and started building cells and network. Wake up.

The question is, who determines who is a terrorists? If we go by what you just said, it means the authorities can kill who ever they like, and call the person a terrorist. Case closed.

There's a reason we have courts, and that is to determine the truth

Never give the authorities blank power over life and death, or they will one day use it to oppress you
I used the keywords "caught in action or proven to be terrorists" by their actions, either by being active in the field, or from outside commanders, leaders etc...ochestrating terrorists acts.

They are intelligent people who have information on things, especially when it comes to national security, what do you think the security and intelligence services are for?

The problem is mediocres want the nation to become mediocre like them, but I tell you today that the strongest nations in the world destroys their enemies, enemies of the people, enemies of peace and security.

A terrorist is someone who sponsors a group that uses terror as a means to an end, leading a group or a member of a group who engages in killings of both civilians and security operatives.

This thread is a serious thread I will appreciate intelligent responses, this is not a thread for children or airheads. If you are looking for definitions use Google.

Do you know Bonny and Clyde were declared enemies of the state by American government, just because they rob banks?

They were not kidnapping people, taking up towns and subjugating the people in the towns, they were only robbing banks.

Their bodies were riddled with bullets...most Nigerians are blinded and enslaved by tribalism, nepotism, and mediocrity, and it's affecting them.

PoliticsRe: Terrorists Don't Deserve the previledge of Being Taken To Court by Ushman333(op): 10:55am On Mar 15, 2025
With the rate of kidnapping left unresolved more criminals will be emboldened to go into the crimes, we should not make it a soft work, in America a sadistic killer/murderer/kidnapper like Evans will be in solitary confinement to feel the pains of his sins, he would be facing in the least multiple life sentences without the possibility of parole, that is if he escaped the electric chair.

We are too lenient on kidnappers, and terrorists, rehabilitating them releasing them after wasting trillions to apprehend them, no serious country release terrorists.

America has never released a terrorist that has been proven to kill Americans, neither has Japan, UK, China, India, all the advancing nations have death penalty and if you become a sadistic killer you will be executed either by lethal injection, electric chair etc...it happens in America, China etc tomorrow, until we use death and execution as deterrence, these scourge of terrorism will continue.

Imagine the number and quality of Nigerians killed by these evil people who have not contributed nothing to this country but pain, waste and killings. Nigeria have spent trillions in money, spent thousands in blood all in the hands of terrorists, enough is enough. Government must know that Nigerians deserve value for money spent, there must be an end to this terrorism, because every budget we keep spending billions but no results.

Are the terrorists ghosts?
What about all the unmanned drones we have?
Don't we have surveillance choppers and jets?

Why are the terrorists still roaming around the forests, dropping bombs will end that...the funds should be used for the job, the funds should be used accountably because terrorism is an existential threat for Nigeria and Nigerians, only people who understands this and are patriotic should be in charge.

Bro, It's good the government lead by example otherwise individuals would start taking the laws in their hands.

Have you forgotten ALUU 4?

The moment we disregard the court in dealing with these issues, the mere shout of thief by a mischievous person out would automatically lead to lynching of innocent people without proof.
You are sounding ignorant, the nation nearly went into famine because of banditry, thousands have been killed, we have internal refugees now, displaced by terrorists invaders, most are from adjoining sahel nations North African axis, and you are talking about death of 4 people. This is the reason why we are in this mess, so many emotional people who love their enemies than themselves. I pray you don't see the wrath of bandits or terrorists before you understand.

Am talking of threat to national security, how does that relate to Aluu issue, please make reasonable hypothesis or examples, so I know am talking to someone who knows what he is saying.

On May 2, 2011, the United States conducted Operation Neptune Spear, in which SEAL Team Six shot and killed Osama bin Laden at his "Waziristan Haveli" in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The US encroached into another country and eliminated their terrorists enemy, note these terrorists are not even in America, but naive people like you, who like being victims say we should tolerate terrorists, who are mainly foreigners with their Nigerian collaborators, who are raping women and children, killing women and children, raping people's wives, looting everyone, kidnapping and tormenting people...are you more democratic than America?
PoliticsRe: Terrorists Don't Deserve the previledge of Being Taken To Court by Ushman333(op): 8:42am On Mar 15, 2025
Tjra:
I disagree

We are practicing democracy still believe in them having their day in the courts.

Jungle justice by the government is never humane no matter how you look at it.

Terrorists like Nnamdi Kanu should be given a chance defend themselves despite the atrocities committed in time past.
This is why Nigeria is the only oil rich country in the world battling internal terrorism for over 15 years, even after spending trillions...because of tribalism, sentiments and fifth columnists that wants to see Nigeria destroyed. All religions believe in killing your enemy, documentation exits in all religions where the people are commanded to destroy their enemies, even common sense and history of the world has shown how nations destroy their enemies, but some Nigerians live in an illusion thinking they can talk or wish their problems away.
PoliticsTerrorists Don't Deserve the previledge of Being Taken To Court by Ushman333(op):
Terrorists are killed the world over, no nation waste time taking terrorists caught in action or those who have been proven to be terrorists to court, taking terrorists to court is a soft landing.

Terrorists have no right to human rights they have forfeited that by their evil acts.

Security operatives please do us good by extracting information from terrorists and eliminating them, they are designated as terrorists, enemies of the state, that means they are liable to elimination.

On May 2, 2011, the United States conducted Operation Neptune Spear, in which SEAL Team Six shot and killed Osama bin Laden at his "Waziristan Haveli" in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

They entered another country and make sure their enemy is eliminated, why are we tolerating these terrorists within our territory?

We need to wake up before tribalism, nepotism, bigotry and sectarianism do us in.
CrimeRe: Police Confirm Death Of Kidnapped Edo Seminarian by Ushman333: 6:31am On Mar 15, 2025
Edo State government enact death penalty for kidnappers, governor Opkebolo sign the warrants...Edo state needs a forest guard, youths from every ward should be recruited, trained and sent back to patrol the forests of every ward in Edo State. Kidnappers and bandits are encircling our forests freely, we must take back our forests.

PoliticsRe: Lagos-Calabar Highway Project Is Not Wasteful, Shehu Sani Replies Obasanjo by Ushman333: 6:42am On Mar 14, 2025
3Ceagle:
Beside being a wasteful project, it is smeared with corruption.

It's a misplaced priority. The existing road network has been in crisis.

Housing is more critical compared to the coastal road, New towns can be built freeing up the cities and new economic hubs.

What Lagos- calabar needs is a train rail system. This is to further attract more business to Lagos ports, while those in south south are killed for Lagos to remain the shipping hub
Your governors can fix the road that is within your region, they are making a lot of money now. Your hate and jealousy for Lagos will destroy you, but lagos is the state bringing the most VAT shared to your lazy governors. Dumb head hater.
PoliticsRe: Lagos-Calabar Highway Project Is Not Wasteful, Shehu Sani Replies Obasanjo by Ushman333: 6:42am On Mar 14, 2025
Obasanjo is probably going senile...how can an alternative road connecting the whole nation, that will drive commerce and movement be wasteful?

How can an alternative safe road to travel across Nigeria be wasteful, a road where you won't worry about bandits, who hide in forest etc...hate is bad for your soul, it's clear baba is still bitter despite claiming to be a pastor. Very disappointing from Obasanjo.

Nigerians stop hating, hate and bitterness will destroy your soul and sense of reasoning.

PoliticsGovernors Are Administrators Workers Of The People They Are Not Kings Or Lords. by Ushman333(op): 11:53am On Mar 13, 2025
I have realised that one of the reasons why governors in Nigeria are more corrupt than their counterparts elsewhere, is because Nigerians treat them like masters and idolize them, this gas up their heads and they act like they own public funds.

Nigerians must be enlightened, state funds is not governor's money, it belongs to the people, watch your governors and petition them to EFCC, expose their corruption, stop treating them like kings or masters, they are public servants.

Once this perception change and people begin to hold governors accountable rather than praying to be recognised by the governor then Nigeria will change.
