Jyde89:way ahead? How? Y'all just lucky Ronaldo was denied his sixth ballon dor because he left Madrid. |
calculator123:for the fact you said Ronaldo cannot be brutally honest means I don't need to argue with you because it is still same Messi fans and neutrals that call him arrogant when he does that. You say he didn't merit the award he won yesterday? tell me who should have won it and also the trophy that person won with his team |
bigl:please what tariff plan are you on because when I tried that plan, I didn't get any bonus |
PopeFlatino:I'm talking of ballon dor lead not a champions league match lead. |
eni4real:so now you compare a 0:1 lead to a 4:1 lead? Father Lord! |
femi4:he just shouldn't have left Madrid. |
Correcto:I swear, they would crucify him, call him all sorts of names, Say he is arrogant and all. Those people tire me |
DukeNija:keep telling that to yourself |
chiboy1116:yes, zlatan too |
Smallboy01:okay |
tfash96:I no too sure but Copa del rey dey low na, e no fit make person win ballon dor |
Smallboy01:did he lie? He says what he believes, the only argument could be that a certain Lionel Messi is on par with him |
Madaraa1:don't mind them |
Astark:because he tries to please people. Deep down I'm sure he tells himself that he is better than those people |
tfash96:him no win anything, thats why |
FamousMonk:modric performed well in the champions league game? Tell me more |
tfash96:so your quarrel now na against ronaldo when you know say Messi dey guilty of the same thing, mtcheww. Tell me the reason wey Messi no attend modric own if no be say him dey vex. Bros you tire me |
truthstands01:he was attending another award ceremony in Italy where he won a trophy. |
Temptee101:chai, don't go and kee yourself oo |
calculator123:allow others enjoy the spotlight? Even your most glorified humble man admitted that he was hurt when Ronaldo won his fifth ballon dor, that he enjoyed being the only one with five. You crucify Ronaldo for ignoring a ceremony where he wasn't going to win anything, when there was another ceremony holding somewhere where there was a sure trophy for him.. please leave my Ronaldo alone. |
Smallboy01:I know someone who love saying things as it is, unfiltered and it is Ronaldo, he is mostly seen as arrogant for that Modified: I made front page . Keep the likes coming ![]() |
Officialgarri:hahahaha, oga calm down oo, I'm a Ronaldo fan. I pray he bottles this lead ![]() |
Officialgarri:goat and hard-working sheep got to me .. he bottled a 4-1 lead before, pray he doesn't bottle this one |

Lionel Messi admits “it hurt” when Cristiano Ronaldo joined him on five Ballon d’Or triumphs, with the Barcelona superstar claiming to understand the frustration of a rival who opted not to attend the 2019 ceremony. Messi had dropped to fifth in the vote 12 months ago, while four years had passed since he was last recognised as the finest player on the planet. In that time, Portuguese icon Ronaldo added another two Ballons d’Or to his collection, with a run of four wins in the space of five years taking the Juventus forward level with an eternal foe. Messi admits he found it difficult to see Ronaldo claiming his fifth award and can appreciate why the Juventus star - who was in Milan to collect a Serie A Player of the Year prize on Monday rather Paris - will be experiencing similar emotions in the present. “On the one hand, I enjoyed having five and being the only one,” Messi told France Football . “When Cristiano moved level, I admit that it hurt me a bit. I was no longer alone at the top. But it made sense, although it was good when I was alone at five. “Was I frustrated in the last few years? Let's say I understood why I did not win. “As a team, we had not achieved our major goal, which was to win the Champions League, which gives you more chances to win the Ballon d'Or. “When Cristiano Ronaldo won it is because he had achieved great seasons by winning the Champions League and being decisive. It was deserved, there was not much I could do. “Did I feel injustice? It's up to you to tell me if the Ballon d'Or is awarded to the best player or the one who enjoys the best season. “It is also down to individual taste. Some prefer Cristiano, others myself or Neymar or [Kylian] Mbappe. People have the right to choose the one they like most.” Ronaldo finished third in the 2019 vote, the first time he has dropped out of the top two since 2010. Messi added on the emotions of a man who has helped him to take his own game to even greater heights: “Do I understand Ronaldo's frustration? It is something that we live, feel and express according to our own way of being. “Once again, the collective titles are the most important thing, even if the individual trophies are rewarding. “When the Ballon d'Or eludes you, everyone reacts in their own way. But when you are a top athlete, you always want to win.” Messi finds himself back at the summit of the global game and intends to make the most of such a standing at 32 years of age. “It is exceptional to win the Ballon d'Or four years in a row, and win another 10 years after the first, it puts into perspective the longevity of my career,” added the South American. “It's hard to stay competitive for a decade. I was lucky to be able to do it.” Source: https://www.goal.com/en/news/messi-it-hurt-when-ronaldo-won-his-fifth-ballon-dor/jo9o8ow48ppq1xosllwkuxnrg

Danwakae:Ronaldo came third |
Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro hit back at Virgil van Dijk on Instagram after the defender joked that the Juventus forward wasn't a "rival" for this year's Ballon d'Or. Barcelona star Lionel Messi claimed the coveted individual award for a sixth time in Paris on Monday, with Liverpool centre-back Van Dijk finishing second in the final voting. Five-time winner Ronaldo did not attend the ceremony, instead choosing to make an appearance at the Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan to collect his ‘Best Player in Serie A’ award. When asked if Ronaldo’s failure to show up meant that he had one less rival to compete with for the accolade, Van Dijk responded: "Was he a rival then?" Ronaldo's sister Aveiro took to Instagram to vent her fury over Van Dijk's comments, expressing her belief that the Liverpool talisman is not in the same league as her brother. "Now, dear Virgil, where you are going, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone and has come [back] a thousand times," she began. "You see, my dear Virgil, that Cristiano Ronaldo was a three-times champion in the country where you have been playing for years and you still haven't got your hands on the trophy. "Cristiano Ronaldo was even the best player and best scorer in the country where you play Virgil. By the way, he was even younger than you. "Then, dear Virgil, Cristiano Ronaldo went to other places and became the greatest player in the history of club football. "Real Madrid, [does that] tell you something, Virgil? Maybe so, because this club, with this Cristiano guy, even beat you in the Champions League final. Of these [Ballons d'Or], Ronaldo already has five, Virgil. "And that fellow Ronaldo, and team-mates, crushed your 'Oranje' in a final. Was it hard, Virgil? We have pity. And, dear Virgil, in one of the least successful times of his career, Cristiano Ronaldo has won even more titles than you. Awesome, isn't it? "Now Virgil, [you go and] win titles that really count and then we'll talk. When you have a handful of them, the really important ones, you might be able to sit at the table with Cristiano. Or, as they say in our land, it grows and appears! For me, Cristiano you are and you will always be the best player in the world!!!" Van Dijk, meanwhile, clarified his remarks after being mentioned by Piers Morgan on Twitter , insisting that he has nothing but respect for Ronaldo and that his "joke" was taken out of context. My friend who studied medicine in school is currently in the NYSC program and needs advice on a professional course she can study when she is done with service. I suggested NEBOSH because I think safety is a general course anyone can go into regardless of what was studied in school. She says she wants something related to medicine, that why I ask this question. What medicine related professional course can someone study and what centre can one visit to study the said course. Thank you for your response ![]()

Sirmuel1:you forgot to add in a friendly match, not even a competition or series of games, just one match. Messi and his fans should enjoy that one |
