When a person resorts to insults instead of addressing issues raised, it is clear that he has nothing to offer.I think the prof raised a valid point here. Is zoning arrangement there in PDP constitution? If yes, why abandon it now because we have a southerner as the incumbent. The danger as Professor Aluko rightly pointed out is that if southerners fail to respect that arrangement now, then jolly well kiss zoning goodbye forever. While countries, like Kenya, that have experienced bloodshed because of elections are being advised to copy our zoning system, some people are trying to abandon it here due selfishness. To me that is an invitation to anarchy. |
@ Becomrich. What has Ilaje got to do with the fact that Ondo should not collect derivation for the little oil they produce yet they collect billions. By the time Delta state claims back the few wells in Ondo, its nothing for you. I know you are planning to move to Benin Republic with our oil but it no go work. |
why worry? Just have fun. |
Becomrich. I can see that you dont want to face the reality. Ondo is about to be removed from the oil producing states and you are here dreaming of taking over more oil from delta. Wake up. |
Becomrich. Why you dey threaten me with OPC because I told you the truth. Ondo has the least oil in Nigeria yet they collected all that money. Wiy are you supporting fraud, Becomrich? Though Ondo will lose all the oil wells soon. |
Becomrich. You see the wayo in Nigeria. Ondo is the least oil producer in Nigeria yet it got N22.5b while a big oil producing state like Abia got N9b. But not to worry. By the time Ijaws leave with their oil, its nothing for you. Ejoo. |
No problem at all. Jonathan may like to join you if you assure him the post of President of Benin Republic. By the time Ijaws leave Ondo state, the only states with oil derivation will be Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Abia, Imo and Edo. I know that it is bitter for you to swallow but sorry that is the situation. And for your information Delta and Edo are not interested in joining you to Benin Republic. |
The Ijaw people in Ondo want to leave Ondo state and join their brothers in Delta state. And they are leaving with their oil. Too bad for Ondo state. No more derivation. |
@ becomrich show us the satellite picture and I will believe. |
@ Marcdunu If you are suggesting that IBB should be forgiven and his past crimes forgoten, then you must be a joker. What is the matter with some Nigerians sef. A confirmed thief and law breaker is walking free after robbing us of billions of dollars and some elders are queueing up to recieve him. Sometimes I doubt if their is still any hope for this country. If our traditional rulers and leaders shun IBB and others of his kind wherever they go, a useful message has been sent across. Why do you think people like him are not allowed to enter the USA. It is not America's money they are stealing after all. This IBB of a man really has guts. After commiting crimes against Nigerians and insulting them by nullifying a free election, he still wants to contest an election in Nigeria. He must believe that all Nigerians are fools. Personally, I still believe that IBB will wind up in jail one day. |
I think Uduagha is doing fine compared to others. The man is handling one of the longest dualisation projects by any state governor, the Asaba-Ughelli road. He has almost completed an airport in the state. These are mega projects by any standard. Delta State General Hospitals today rank among the best general hospitals in the country. |
@poster Part of NL rules reads "thou shall not deliberately post false information". Be warned. |
Agreed. Buhari has the pedigree to fight Indicipline and Corruption in Nigeria. But the man shot himself in the leg when he turned jihadist. I even heard he asked northern moslems never to vote for any christian. That is not the kind of leader we need now. |
Better to wait for the DNA test results. |
Ignorance. A Nigerian company has just lost a very big contract to a South African company due to some dubious business machinations among white men, and our brothers are here rejoicing. If you know how many billions of your currency will leave the shores of Nigeria for SA in the next three years, you may cut short your jubilliation. Look at Ghana, SA and others including all the Asian countries. They make it difficult for aliens to establish any business on their land by being outrightly hostile. Nigerians are simply indifferent. Even our governments are no different. 90% of their contracts are awarded to half-literate lebanese rather than to Nigerian companies. The day we begin to feel for our own, is the day our recovery begins. |
@ Mr. Fire Aigbofa is not Yoruba. He is just a miserable Ishan man trying his best to be accepted by the Yorubas. I pity him. |
Pls. How do I use `Quote`from other posts? |
I truly sympathise with bk/babe. Now we know why he hates Igbo people so much. He should however realise that he has Igbo blood in him. |
Becomrich should henceforth write in Yoruba. This insolence on the English language is now unbearable. |
A state chief lawmaker joins others to disobey a court order for selfish reasons. I think this democracy is crumbling. I can see the hand of Jonathan in this. |

The bad boys are roaming the streets free while the good ones are hiding behind bars in their homes. I tell you if gun ownership is legalised in Nigeria, all these home robberies will be a thing of the past. No more will riff-raffs rape a man's daughters and wife while he watches helplessly. |
