The US has its Monroe Doctrine and will not allow any Russian influence in the western hemisphere as evidenced in the Cuban Crisis of 1962 but has no qualms about going into Russian areas of influence. Putin has been voicing his opposition to US and NATO encroachment in his traditional areas of influence for years and has largely been ignored. The result now is this war. I have always known that the US and NATO's plan of isolating Russia would be costly and dangerous.

I am ashamed for you. So you have no problem with a corrupt person being your governor.

Everybody is putting all the blame on bad building materials but that is not the main reason for building collapse. Poor foundation design and /or construction is actually the main culprit. Low quality materials also may be a cause but the truth is that most of the people called engineers (mainly senior masons) do not even have a basic understanding of the structural stability of a building. It amazes me how somebody can engage a mason to handle a multi storied building just to save some money. That is 'penny wise pound foolish'. Governments should also help by making it mandatory for every developer to engage engineers to handle big structures.

I am amazed at how you guys always manage to divert every topic to an Igbo vs Yoruba war.

You hardly hear of the military attacking terrorist bases. All you hear is Boko haram attacked this military base, bandits attacked that police base. Something is not just right up there.

I am always amazed when people praise Willie Obiano here on social media. These are people who know little or nothing about Anambra State. There is virtually no presence of Obiano anywhere in Anambra State apart from his Aguleri home. Peter Obi who foisted him on the people later apologised for the mistake.

Campaigning or not, the day Nigerians wake up to realise that they need someone like Peter Obi as president irrespective of tribe or religion is the day they have gone back onto the track of progress.
