Please what type of ATF oil can I use for my Volvo XC90 2004 model...what is written on the dipstick is 'SWEDEN 8675188'. My mechanic just changed the oil on the 1st of January 2022 using Oando Dextron III after a through cleaning of the filter and driving it yesterday; its displaying 'Transmission Service Required' on the clockboard/message/information board.

Please kindly advise on how to proceed on this...

Oando Dexron III is just ok for your car, the message you have on dash should be scanned to find out why it's come up

It's not just duty,a lot of factors.

Exchange rate was ₦360/$1, now it's ₦570/$1

Buying cost of the Volvos on auction have now gone up,too many people are now interested

And ,yes, customs increased duty, but it's somewhere in the region of ₦100k difference now, that's not the main reason for price hike

That said, serious buyers know to call, come for inspection and get a discount too.

Mobil no longer own retail filling stations. What you're seeing is private individuals operating using the name 'Mobil'.

That name "Mobil" still has more reputation to uphold, if the sellers of the franchise allow the guys using their "name" to rain hell on customers in the name of adulterated and bush refined fuel, then in no time the name "Mobil" will pull no more weight than the name "Stanel world"

That name alone is what puts these guys in check most times, I'm not going into the issue of pump adjustment, everyone is guilty, I'm focusing now on the quality of petrol
