fejjiluv: Last year things were not done online but this year I heard you have to book for appointment for legalization online before going, and it's abuja. But for the scholarship, it opens September, just search for opendoors scholarship, prepare your documents and get ready. Thank you for the reply |

fejjiluv: Good day. So I got OD last year, did my legalisation and all, got my visa num even but something happened and I couldn't travel, I was able to retain the scholarship though, I've been going through this thread and I'm seeing people complain about visa denials, does this happen to OD candidates also because it's alarming. Pls about the OD, is everything done online? Or do I have to travel to Abuja or Lagos for the process? Can u pls share the application link so we can be checking there from time to time |

Bro pls I need help and guidance on how to go about the open door/Olympiad scholarship.
I want to start my process, but don't know how to go about these scholarships. I am already 37 years old and have tried reaching out to some schools for the language course because I intend going for BSc after the language course. One of the schools I emailed told me I can only apply for the language course through sponsorship/scholarship. This is in line with what @freedomtours also told me. But any legit info u can give me here is highly welcome bro. Thanks |

freedomtours: Try and do that through scholarship, but through study invitation, the Embassy will refused you, except you want to play ball Is it because of my age? |

Hello everyone, I greet the OP and other gurus here specially for all the selfless support. Pls I want to ask a very important question. Apart from St. Petersburg and Moscow, which other cities have good job opportunities for international students and are also relatively affordable in terms of tuition fees and living expenses.
Pls help reply. I want to apply for pre-university course and I need the information to enable me make an informed decision.
P.S: I'm 37 yrs old. I hope it doesn't matter cos I intend going for BSc after the language course |

Advise taken bro. Gratitude. Slip: So it is only age that can be that rejection narration? what if the person is unable to convince or show seriousness on the day of interview? You dont think it could also result to that rejection statement?
You have been advised. There is no age limit in studying. |

Tommynaku: Someone replied you Yes, someone did. But I need a little more clarification. I've seen two guys (above 30) who were rejected. They were told they are not sure their intentions is genuinely to study. Heard this is a recent development though, that's why I'm asking for more clarification especially from HND holders in the house |

valez19: Hello everyone in the house, please I'm new here and I sincerely need advice. I want to apply for studies in German University but I don't have B.Sc. What I have is HND. Though I've read through, and seen that I can go for Undergraduate studies with my HND. But I was recently informed by some friends that the embassy is now denying visa for people who are 30 years old and above. Is this true? And if it is true, what should I do as I'm already in my early 30s? Is there anything I can do about it? Please, I appreciate advises from anyone in the house who knows how the system works. Thanks Please, I need more information/clarification on this. Please guys, I need guidance |

Slip: What you heard from your friend is not true... There's no age limit in studying... In fact, a friend in Germany confirmed that a 54yrs old man was his course mate.... However, you should be able to answer the VO what u have been doing after graduated....That is if you were asked by the V.O but not all cases they do asked.... Thank you so much boss, I appreciate. I feel relieved right now cos I was already confused when I heard people are now being rejected for undergraduate visa due to their age. Thanks so much |
