That's a very slow process that takes many years. I don't think you will be alive to see it happen. We need a quicker solution.
Don't be too quick, you'll make mistakes.

So how would change happen? Will change happen by sitting and typing English criticising our leaders on social media?
Yes, while praying that education will change people from being tribalistic enough to allow an election rigged because of the tribe or religion of the person who will win.
Crime › Re: Abuja Police Help Me Track A Thieve by vanbonattel: 6:22pm On Jul 26, 2024
wordsNOTswords:
A Kind hearted Nairaland should help me apprehend an Abuja criminal that broke into our compound with machete and stole my laptop and phones even phones from other my neighbors. Now the criminal made a grievous mistake by using my SIM card to call a certain phone number and also borrowing money to do data subscription to that particular same number.

I need anybody with serious connections to the Police in Abuja that intelligent with tracking someone with phone number so that we can bring this guy to the book.

I'm also a struggling Nigerian without a tangible job . This laptop he stole was gifted to me by my childhood friend to use for my Programming tutorials just few weeks ago, so you can imagine the heartbreak , I do not exactly have enough money to pay police to track the criminal so I'm urging well meaningful Nigerians with the rightful connections to the Police to help me apprehend this common Thief so that God's name will be glorified . Amen!
So you need money and connections to push the police to work?
Politics › Re: Reasons Why The Protest MUST Proceed by vanbonattel: 6:20pm On Jul 26, 2024
You cannot change anything with this protest, note that.

Nigeria is too far gone for that.

That is not surprising, by that time, Oladele, Monsurudeeeen, Tunde, Femi, Rufai, Lawal, Oluremi, Oluwasoronty, Oladeidei, Afonsfons and Kamarudeen with millions of others will be protesting in peace in the North and SW.
Politics › Re: Enugu Youth Group Withdraws From Nationwide Protest by vanbonattel: 5:21pm On Jul 26, 2024
They have no reasons to protest in the first place. They are not surprised about the turn out of national events, all have been factored in. Still waiting for the pain and hunger to reach highest levels.

Those protesting now are fickle minded people who thought a bad man can do them good.

How many threads do you people want to created about the protest when you are not going to observe it in your region?
We can create millions, as long as it will help us drive the narrative that you started the protest and we will not join.

To be honest, the president is trying, people thought he will be worse than this, people thought that by this time, corpses of hungry people will be dropping in every streets and people may not not have power to Bury anyone.

Please don't protest, wait till half of the country kpai before you start complaining. Only people who voted the disaster should protest their stupidity with apologies to all other Nigerians.

it is not me you're talking about. I have not joined the protest. I believe that Tinubu is doing everything he promised Nigerians and we must let him complete the disaster without let or hindrances.
Personally, Tinubu hasn't disappointed, he is peppering people the same way I warned them he will.

Tinubu shouldn't be disturbed. I say no to protests.
Politics › Re: Protest: Can Tinubu Get The Support Of SE &SS As He Face Down With North Revolt by vanbonattel: 1:14pm On Jul 26, 2024
No, never, we will never support evil.

(Just joking) grin

We now support Tinubu with all our hearts, he is not disappointing in what we warned you he will do, so let him do another 8 years till all your brains will be reset by hunger.

Suffer no dey kill people, it only makes them get sense. Maybe by the time tinubulatiion is over, Nigerians will start to be less tribalistic.

givedemwotowoto:
If you decide to go and protest, that's totally your choice.

Protest is not for everyone. If you are not facing hardship and hunger, the protest is not for you.

The least you can do is provide support and solidarity for those protesting
The proyest is definitely not for me or my people who voted right, the protest is for those who supported evil, they should seize the opportunity and make things right by confronting the monsters they created.

We will be watching from a distance.

Answer: So that they can move the FCT to Lagos after they say that Abuja is unsafe. grin

This is no hunger protest, they are after their own agenda.

Protest is not for everyone. The people you mentioned are rich people, they don’t need to be in a hunger protest.

They can provide support or solidarity, and that’s what you should do if you’re not out there in the streets with them
So you're saying they should provide solidarity and support whe I provide my body to be shot at?

Your not a good person I swear cheesy

keep quiet there

Do u think we are foolish, northerners are already mobilizing for protest in the north n we ain't seeing any northerner calling for protest in d south

But u igbos are not protesting in south east but want to protest in south west

We know your plans n we are waiting for u

Go n see the thread where northerners are planning to protest in their region, none of them mentioned south

What we are telling u igbos is that u should protest in your region n leave south west alone

It's simple n clear
We are not joining to protest anywhere, even in the moon, its your protest, face it and stop turning for our support, you are going it alone on this one.
