Each Yoruba state has its local dialect, a slight variation of the general Yoruba language, go to Akure, they speak what you’ll call Ekiti, the same as Ilesha in Osun state, and even in the Ekiti, many towns have their local dialect that easily tells off where such a person comes from in the state once they speak.

Ekiti is a dialect of Yoruba language and not a tribe. We are all Yoruba.
