Politics › Re: Can We Use 15 Trillion Coastal Road Fund And Pay 100k Minimum Wage To Workers?. by vanbonattel: 6:25pm On Jun 03, 2024 |
alanto: First how much do you think it will cost federal and state governments to pay their respective workers? What do you think is the size of the government workers both federal and state (considering federal will pay for both)?
Will Dangote, TFC and Access Bank also pay from these 25 trillion? What about a POS business owner that employed an operator? How much does such person have to make to pay 470k a month, how about the local mama put that pays 1k a day which would be the minimum wage if multiply by 30. Will this mama put be able to pay 400k Salary?
And what about the laundry guy that needs extra hands?
Make una dey think small small. How much did it cost to declare ''Fuel subsidy is gone'' ? |

michlins: honestly, the military guys are not helping matters at all. Every check point is an ATM point. They're not security conscious at all. They're just busy collecting money and giving change. How can you be that careless?
If you watched the video, the army were on defense and it was pitiful. None of the attackers got a gunshot wound.
I pray that the dead finds peace and the living should be better at their job I think its more of a revenue drive for the army than a security measure. |

Who is a terrorist between the two of you? |

SadiqBabaSani: it is not their duty within civilian population, but that doesn't mean people should be killed because they are wearing uniform So you're saying that mounting checkpoints should be discouraged in areas where civilians are much? Have you seen any military checkpoints in the south where there are not many houses around? |

helinues: Sending military or declaring state of emergency is a bait to score some cheap political points.
Mr President should not fall for the baits. Let SE people handle their insecurities matter themselves after all, a zoo government shouldn't interfere in happenings in Alaigbo. Good, let them remove all the check points collecting money from motorists. |

Paraman: There's nothing wrong with living under rusted roof There is my dear, it spoils the ambience of a place. Gives the place an offensive, old and outdated look. A house with rusted roof cannot be new inside, it will have old, outdated fittings which may also be leaky or falling apart. Renovation is recommended. |

In this age and time, a government is still building open gutters? What kind of thing is this?
Anyway, I hear many homes don't have toilets, the government is providing an open air one.
The roads are good, I like them, but, do more. |

Very nice road, but
The government needs to invest in roofing materials
What shall it profit a people to run on new roads and still live under rusted roof? |
