let me correct you since I'm south African those are SAPS full time police women that chase and arrest criminals around south africa and the wear blue. Metro police wear blue and brown, the blue colour represents the department of police and the brown color which is a trouser represents the department traffic... If you think those women are beautiful, you should see the traffic police women.

“South Africa has really been able to harness her tourism potentialto continue to attract internal and external tourists. “South Africa receives an average of about 10 million foreign tourists yearly, including about 50,000 Nigerian visitors,’’ he said. The high commissioner, who said that his government was ready to share its tourism development expertise with Nigeria, noted that Nigeria was endowed with potential that needed to be harnessed. According to him, Nigeria is blessed with a large population and rich tourism potential in favour its tourism development. Mnguni, who restated his government’s commitment to supporting Nigeria in making the sector viable, also enjoined Nigeria to encouage Public Private Partnership in the sector’s development. “We have always believed that when Nigeria is strong, South Africa also becomes strong. “Nigeria has all the attributes of becoming an enviable tourism destination. We will therefore, like to see Nigeria build her potential into a very strong economic pillar. “As South Africa, we do not want to be an island of prosperity in a sea of poverty. We really want to develop alongside with our strategic partners like Nigeria,’’ he said. Mnguni also expressed his government’s readiness to support Nigeria in addressing problems of poverty, unemployment, homelessness and marginalisation. He also said that his government would continue to sustain a mutually beneficial partnership with Nigeria as well as promote cordial relationship between the citizens of both countries.

I think it's an old post because the last time South Africa had a power cut for 2hours was last year and since the beginning of this year there was no power cut unless you didn't pay your bill or fault from the municipal.

We've had light for the past 5days now for at least 20 hrs a day in abuja.

And now the weather is good, we dont even need it. When d sun was killing was when phcn was down. Even NASA has come out with a report dt february was the hottest month in earths history (since they started taking records).

No one else noticed except we underdeveloped countries wt poor power supply. PHCN needs to be consistent. Power should be a priority in this country. Other countries dont joke wt it, they have different sources of power - they make sure they have energy supply for years ahead. They even go to war for it.

Nigerians are chest beaters nobody can take that from us, I am not here to discuss my traveltunities which I love talking about by the way cos travelling is one of my fav hobbies, so yes I love talking about places I have been to and things I have seen and I think Nigerians should travel out of Nigeria more, we would be humbled if we do that. Like I pointed out in my earlier post,Nigeria is overpopulated so you dont need to tell me about the population of Kenya and Zambia but how have these countries been able to control their birth rates so that they don't have a population explosion like we do. Our population is a big burden cos we can't harness it to our advantage so it's not somethibg to be proud of, we should concentrate instead on educating pple about birth control and all of that.
I know it's mostly foreigners that are in control of the tourism industry but it's creating jobs for the kenyan pple as well as bringing in foreign revenue to their economy.
Thanks for your congratulatory wishes , now let's concentrate on building our country shall we SA is way ahead of us in most development indices,the sooner we accept that, the better for us and the sooner we can work on fixing things.

I was in Zambia recently and I was amazed at their level of development,Nigeria does not come close to them right from the airport to the city and every other place I visited. Power didnt go off for more than 2 hrs at a time and in the 10 days I spent there, i didnt experience power failure more than 2ce, I'm presently in Nairobi and it's the same thing, power failure is almost non-existent and their tourism industry is very developed, I don;t even want to atlk about other western countries sef cos it will take us decades to get to their level and this is a fact.
A proud man does not know his weakness and there is no way you can work on your weaknesses if you don't know them. Nigerians should stop bragging and forming best in Africa cos we are not even close, we are just overpopulated and loud mouthed noise makers, we need to calm down and fix our country.
